We ended up moving and took it out of the garage to be inspected for 2024 and they flunked it by $2,700 worth of repairs it accumulated while sitting in the garage. It was started twice a week over the winter. What really pissed me off he refused to give us our paperwork saying that it flunked and what it exactly needed. I sold it to a 20 year old for $5,000 Don't be fooled the Attitude is only the beginning!!

I arrive Thursday around 4:30pm just to find out my truck takes "special transmission fluid" and they asked if I can wait an extra day. I waited all day Friday, just to receive no phone call or update. My truck was parked in the same spot I left it Monday and was a waste of time. What kind of service shop doesn't have transmission or brake fluid? Especially with scheduling ahead of time.. No upfront pricing and said I'll need to wait until the job is done to find out the price? That was my experience.

Went in for 2 front bearings pressed and a wheel alignment…read more One bearing was bad, bit I wanted both replaced. I was charged for 2 front berings and labor. Apparently they only changed one, because the other went 1 month later, I was told it was never changed by a new mechanic. Also, my BRAND NEW snows were badly worn on the outside passenger side, which means they either didn't do the alignment at all, or was WAY out of spec. Now I am out the full cost of a half-assed job, 2 snow tires AND the cost of someone else doing the proper repair. I absolutely abhore places like these.

I went into Scotty's thinking my 2006 ford needed a transmission…read more This was based on an evaluation from a Ford dealership. After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. Final cost at Scotty's $150 to evaluate $250 to upload the new software Total $400.00 Can't say enough good things about this place. Talk about trusting a Mecanic!!! Thanks guys, you have my business.

Friendly mechanics, friendly staff, and an all around great experience.

Nick was fantastic…read more I showed interest in one of his used cars that he was selling and he immediately responded. He even ran around the day prior to me meeting him to make sure the cars title was up to date. I had to drive about an hour away to get to him, but it was absolutely worth it. Nick left the car on the lift specifically so I could take a look under the car and he gladly popped the hood. He was very courteous and understanding. He disclosed anything and everything - I didn't have to question his honesty at all. He is very upfront. He allowed for me to take a test drive around the area and during the test drive he explained all of the details of the car - he also disclosed all of the improvements he had done to the car in the last month to get it ready to be sold. He provided a list as well and documentation as proof. I accepted the offer and Nick was patient enough to wait for me to go and grab a check from the bank. When I came back we had a brief talk about how to transfer the car, get a new registration and plates. This was the smoothest experience I have ever had when it comes to buying a car. Nick makes it simple, and easy. He did this all on his day off - I am so thankful to him. Nick just got a customer. Anytime I have an issue with my car, I will be going to Nick.

I needed four new tires. I know next to nothing about tires. Large purchases regarding things outside of my wheelhouse can be daunting lol The employee who met me at the front desk was great - with a glance he knew the size of tire I'd need, pulled up the options for brands and prices for me, explained the differences between them so I could make an informed purchase, and not 20 minutes later I was done and heading home on four new tires. Can't ask for better than that :) We won't hesitate to return next time we need tires.
