What a lovely surprise! We are stepping into 2026 with a mindful intention of walking everyday. It…read morestarted with just 20 mins/day and has turned into an adventurous hobby. When we run errands, or go to lunch, we now look for a nearby neighborhood or park to explore. Today brought us to Valencia. When I searched for "largest park", Heritage appeared. After running errands and before dinner, we went walking. After parking in the large, free lot, we went towards the restrooms to prep for our hour long constitutional. We set a timer for 30 minutes and off we set towards the San Fransiquito Creek Trail along the northwest edge of the park. We had no idea how well paved, well marked and how, well...LONG this trail is! We walked for 30 minutes north, past homes and communities, then turned back before we could even see anywhere NEAR the end of the trail at Copper Hill Dr. Along the way we passed many a happy walker, jogger, puppy dog, and cyclists enjoying the final golden minutes of the day and this lovely area preserved for our recreation. By the time we returned to the actual park, soccer practice and flag football began occupying the fields. Many more youths had taken to the playground and a few adults had settled into the tables at the picnic area. As we left, we agreed it was a great walk and a beautiful location we look forward to traversing again, next time following the trail in the opposite direction. Cheers! "CC"

The staff here are amazing!!!! Okay, I meant to write this review 2 months ago…read more I am a new boat owner and still learning a TON. It was my first time taking my new boat out without anyones guidance, and of course, being inexperienced, I unknowingly took it out on a super, like super windy day, with 25+ mph winds! And again, being naive and inexperienced, I launch my little boat, immediately regretting it hahaha. And being new to all of this at the time, I had no confidence or knowledge to properly retrieve my boat out of that, mess, to say the least hahaha. The workers, working at the launch ramp SAVED ME!!! They were all so beyond super nice, awesome, and helpful! I asked if they could help me retrieve my boat, cause, I didn't know what to do hahaha, and oh my gosh. I am beyond thankful for them! They all helped me and only thanks to them we were able get the boat back on the trailer with those crazy winds. A MASSIVELY HUGE SHOUTOUT TO KEARNS, HOGGIE, AND BURNETT!!!!! I CAN NOT THANK YOU GUYS ENOUGH AND HOPE YOU READ THIS!!! They were so helpful and so kind! Didn't take money or anything! Amazing workers! So sorry it took so long to write a review! I didn't forget! Get them a raise frickin immediately! They definitely made it a memorable first experience hahahaha! May the Lord BLESS all of you!!!

Its 15 to get in which is not bad at all! The kids get to swim in the lake and we get to chill. Its super relaxing. Everything is very clean and everyone that works there are super nice including the life guards which are doing a great job keep everyone safe. If you want to have a nice day with the family I highly recommend castaic lake. We literally played football for hours in the sand it was so much fun we had 2 canopy set up and brought some food and drinks with us you can also grill there which is awesome Definitely will be doing that next time.

The parking lot is small, and you really can't see what's behind the headquarters building. All I could see were tennis courts. ‍ I'm SO glad I eventually got out of the car and explored because this place is MASSIVE! There are quite a few different directions you can go. The main area, where the playground is located, has a beautiful circular walking path surrounded by lush green grass and trees. Since I was there in the early evening, there were quite a few shady spots along the way. But if you continue walking toward the back...WOW! It opens up into what feels like a vast desert landscape, with several different paths to explore. One of them even has a pretty steep hill! This area also serves as the backdrop to some absolutely beautiful homes. And the best part? It was SO quiet, peaceful and serene. Just the rain, the trees and the sound of nature. I came looking for a place to walk and accidentally found a little hidden gem. Definitely adding Summit Park to my list of places to return to!

There are numerous trails, plus sports courts for both tennis, basketball and pickleball. The space felt safe and has a community center type building that centers it. There were lots of families walking their dogs and playing catch and couples lounging on the grass area. Overall, it's a great community space with one note...there are no restrooms located in the park and the closest facilities will be located across the street at the Whole Foods, so use your judgement wisely.
