This is now one of the parks in the SCV areas where they have added climbing/hiking steps similar to that of Central Park, so it has become a bit more popular in that regard. I took my 4 and almost 2 year old on a saturday morning 9:30-11:30 and they had a blast. What is amazing is they also added shade sails over the existing 3 play structures and the exercise equipment area, which makes it so much more convenient, accessible and comfortable year round. They also added a softball field with a shaded/covered bench and viewing area, new bathrooms near the field, more covered picnic tables (available to reserve for parties and events), and a new basketball court near the playgrounds featuring 1 regulation height full court and 2 lower hoops for younger kids. They also added 2 big-kid swings in a shaded area near the big kid play structure which is awesome, as before there were just two toddler swings (which are now also significantly shaded btw). Sun exposure can still be tough depending on time of day, as when we were leaving the smallest 3 slides were heating up quite a bit for my little ones comfort, but the kids had a blast nonetheless. My only knock, is that with all these great improvements and renovations, I wish they would have improved and upgraded the existing bathrooms near the playgrounds too. Not that there is anything particularly wrong with them, but they could use some basically upgrades for the sink, dividers between urinals, and just overall modernization and environmental efficiency similar to the new bathrooms by the softball field and at some of the other renovated parks. Highly recommend this park. It is definitely one of my go-tos when I need to get the boys out of the house. It is a great place for kids to roam, explore, and play,

I've had my eyes on this park for a while now but whenever I would put it into Google Maps, it would say it's under construction so I didn't wanna haul three kids to a park that 'may' be closed (we live 40 mins away) But a friend passed by and saw it was open so we had to go check it out! We loved every second of it!! - huge fully shaded playground!! Three sections, bigger, middle and smaller. - BIG slides for those who love them! - lots of climbing and crawling areas - plenty of grassy space - baseball fields - shaded picnic tables - clean bathrooms - water fountains - parking lot close by to playground If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend this park!! We were told there's also a little nature trail too! We gotta check that out next time.

The reason I am taking away a few stars, is because the park seems to lack enforcement of leash laws and dog curbing. A partial cement path goes through a portion of the park with a couple benches to sit and relax. There's a water fountain with an attachment for dogs along the path as well. Most of the local dog owners use this park to play fetch with their pups. There are poop bags provided near the parking lot and playground area. Nuisance dogs are not tolerated here. You can let them off leash although they're supposed to always be on one. As long as they don't attack other dogs or people you should be fine. I love bringing my dog here, when it's not so busy, to play fetch or chase her to get the pent up energy out. Beware of random droppings left behind by inconsiderate dog owners! Just a heads up. *It's not me. I always pick mine up.*

The stories I read of folks not being able to find the falls always make me smile, as part of the beauty of that has always been that's the point.
