I could actually sit back and not worry about him getting hurt or being pushed to the side in an unsafe spot (near a big slide, long set of climbing stairs, or just open space at an elevation) with older or more aggressive kids being around. Came here to have a family picnic and had a lovely time. The park is located in a residential area and although it was the weekend it was not packed. It was very mellow but it was pretty hot out. There's 3 playgrounds next to each other but unfortunately the bigger playground does not have shade over it like the smaller one meant for toddlers does. There are plenty trees and shaded areas in the grass to cool down. The bathrooms were close by and well maintained. The flooring beneath the playgrounds was a squishy turf and good for if a kiddo slipped, but it does absorb a lot of heat. Please make sure you stay hydrated! They have a water fountain available outside of the restrooms. read more

I would say this is a pretty decent park for kids. Not overly busy which is good and has a section for young kids to toddlers and older. There is a little workout area as well. Parking is easy and there are bathrooms. There are tables as well. Not much room to go on a walk around the park but you can walk around the neighborhood. read more

This is one of the most beautiful parks that I have ever experienced. Stunning! Everything a park should be. It is nestled on top of a quiet hill. There is parking, clean restrooms, a workout area for parents, shaded picnic benches, a grassy area, (if my memory serves correctly) a BBQ area, and the most stunning array of play structures which focus heavily on climbing. My son loved this park. We literally could not get him out of it (for real, we had to send a big kid up to coax him out). When the weather is amazing we can spend hours up there, take some snacks and you have literally everything you need. The park is also named as tribute for a fallen deputy and I think it's a beautiful representation. Hands down my most favorite park ever. read more

Nice little park with shade trees a playground and bathrooms. It is a nice little chill spot but parents be careful allowing kids here alone. I was here on a particularly hot Saturday, there was a Hispanic man approximately 40-50 years old that walked up from seemingly out of nowhere, he approached me while I was sitting in my car and propositioned me for sex. I told him to get away from me. He tried to laugh it off and then left quickly on foot. I imagine he may have been coming to see if there were any children alone. What a creep. I went here yesterday morning! There is one section that is shaded, which I really appreciated in this hot weather. I really like all of the structures they have. I thought all of them were very unique and fun. There was a cool bridge that works your balance. The little kids section had this circle that you could spin on. There is a nice lot to park in. The only downside was that I appreciate that there is a public bathroom, but it was poorly designed. The family one had a door that was kicked out or something, so the lock wouldn't work. Also the sink, soap dispenser, and air dryer, were squished in the corner with barely any room to use. It's very difficult for a child to use it. read more

Love this small community park. I was looking for a park without sand or wood chips and this park met my needs. I love the turf for the children as well as the exercise area available. Twice we came and there was a party but my two were still able to play without any interference with the party. The community of residents that frequent the park are very nice. I took my children to the park weekly for approximately 10 weeks being I had to wait in the area for my teenager to complete a program. I definitely will definitely take the drive from Stevenson Ranch to come here that's just how much I like there is no sand and there is enough to entertain both my 4 & 6 year old. I stumbled upon this park today when looking for a better park to bring my kids to to play. I love that the park has 3 different playgrounds for the kids to choose from & there is NO SAND! Sand is so annoying at other parks as it gets in my kids hair, shoes & every where else to make it a pain. Besides the playgrounds there are plenty of benches & covered areas for parents to sit. They park also has grilling areas for you if you wanted to come & have a BBQ using charcoal. They also have a outside fitness area for kids & adults to use. My nieces love this park. This playground is split into 2 for kids of different ages, but my niece loves to play on both sides. There are a variety of slides and swings. There plenty of benches with shaded areas. A fitness area is located next to the playground. Lots of grass area for kids to run and play. I would recommend this park for kids of all ages! read more

Toddler play area is covered and shady which is nice. The ground is super squishy which was great for my waddler just learning how to walk.

This park has to be my favorite ! It's so huge and has multiple playgrounds for all ages for kids. It seems so safe and it has a big lawn for playing sports. I'm not from this area I was just looking up playing grounds and I'm glad I found this playground for my son. There was so many kids when we arrived here. I will definitely come back. I absolutely love this park. Let me start off by saying that the park is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. In addition, the playground is so nicely set up and what I enjoy the most is that I'm able to maneuver throughout without no problem as an adult after my toddler. This is by far my favorite park in Santa Clarita. The Tri-level playground is what originally made it memorable to my kiddies, who visited as part of a school trip. My oldest loved it so much that, though he could not recall the name, he did an Internet search and quickly found the location. And, happy of happys, it's fairly close to our casa! I can see why they love it: three playgrounds (each aimed at a different age group) that made *me* want to play; a Fitness Zone, on which (despite my flip-flops and jean skirt) I *did* play; an awesome view of the hillside (no trail access) and ultra-cushy ground on which to land. For me and hubby, the picnic tables are covered by a pavilion and well-located for a view of all playgrounds; bathrooms are well-stocked and clean; trash cans are obvious; parking is ample; location is safe and quiet; and barbecue stands had us talking picnics. Yes, this is not only a park that I like, but one to which I am actually eager to return! Plus, I created this Yelp page to share the love. Well-done City of Santa Clarita! read more

Kept very clean and a lot of fun play structures for young toddlers and older children. I love this park.

This is really cool park. I took my almost 1yr old here for a couple hours and most of the structures are too big for him but the park itself was clean and really cool. I like the adult workout area and the fact that at least one of the structures is under a canopy. Anyone who spends time in the SCV knows it can get very hot there. While I am not a local anymore I will bring my son back when we visit my parents and he's big enough to blow off some steam. A true hidden gem. read more

Very nice park for kids their equipment is super nice and not like all the other parks. The park is clean and so our the bathrooms. They have room to toss a ball on the grass areas as well as exercise equipment for adults for older children. My kids and me had a blast at this park and I would recommend it. read more

Absolutely a joy to be in this park. They have a mini fitness center for kids. They have ample tables for picnics. The playground is huge and modern. The only peeve I have is that there are dog owners who do not.pick up the poop which is very irresponsible. I wanted to take a picture but it's too disgusting to take a picture on my phone.
