Del Taco is the best of the best when it comes to fast food. Is it authentic Mexican? No. Will it change your life? Probably not. However, it is delicious, cheap, fast, and there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. I have been a Del enthusiast for years, and always order the same thing. I swear by the vegan delicacy that is their Bean Burrito-no cheese, rojo sauce, add hash browns, add three slices of avocado. They have real avocado here, not that gross avocado purée. This meal will set you back just $2. The hot sauces here are fantastic. My favorite is the "Inferno", their spiciest condiment. It is made with ancho chilies and has a rich, smoky flavor that really enhances the food. Their Del Scorcho is also good, if you like a more distinctly jalapeño taste. The mild contains no peppers whatsoever, and is basically just a nice garlicky salsa. I dock one star because I swear the tacos are getting smaller. My boyfriend opened his hard shell tacos and started laughing-they were literally the size of his palm. They're still cheap as shit, but are definitely shrinking in size. Fortunately, everything tasted great as it usually does, and we left feeling slightly bloated and fully satisfied. Although Del taco is one of my favorite fast food places I try hard to avoid this location. Used to have good service and then they had a woman employee who is extremely rude who is no longer there. Eventually I started going back and it was much better service for a few weeks. Went out of town for a while and came back. Went last night and the night cashier was extremely rude also. Had a thuggish attitude. Once I started exerting a negative attitude towards him, he realized that I was completely capable of calling him out on it and wouldn't be fixed average pushover Patron, he got completely nice towards the end. Really ticked off right now. The young woman working the drive thru window has the WORST attitude. She told me my total which was double what it should've been and she said it multiple times because I questioned her about the total. There's no way my food was over $60. She very rudely asked me what I ordered when she knew darn well what I ordered. So I repeated it just for her to suddenly change the total to half of what she originally said multiple times. Drove thru this evening. Not a lot of cars so not very busy. They didn't put all of my order in the bags! Didn't realize this till I got home. Also didn't realize I wasn't given a receipt! First of all first impression when walk in the location was awful. I'm usually not one to post reviews but I had to today. Outside on the parking lot and inside the location looked like a mess with trash everywhere. It's a place for eating and seeing those condition make me a little concern on how their kitchen is. The young man who was at the register seemed high. He never greeted us and was looking at the register -no eye contact- I even asked him if he was sleep deprived or high. I went here this morning and ordered a chicken quesadilla with no green sauce and a few other things. When the person who took my order repeated my order back to me perfectly both times and once I got my order they had given me a cheese quesadilla. I called to ask if i could go back to get what I ordered since it was pretty much my breakfast/only meal I was going to have that day and I let them know I was not given a receipt. The employee who answered looked for my receipt and said I was only charged for a cheese quesadilla and my other items sooo... and didn't say anything else. Your manager is rude. I went to use the restroom and she cut in front of me and told me to use the other one. Idk why, but she did. Her way of telling me could have been nicer. My husband ordered us drinks, I got a iced tea. I stood at the counter patiently as she looked at me twice without acknowledging me.
