Taco was ok.
Mike F.

Don't waste your time! Newly opened. Won't last. Not nearly as good as Taco Bell (across the street). Ordered a chicken, queso burrito meal with the Deluxe Chili Cheese fries. First, the burrito fell apart at first bite. Second, it was beef, not chicken. Sloppy. Also ordered two taco meal with same fries. Tacos were just ok. Special fries ($2.60 extra) were topped with Pico and some sour cream. If there was chili, I missed it. Sogg Expensive - $30 for two!! Not impressed! Should have gone across the street for a crunch wrap!

Del Taco is good food budget friendly people. It's new here in North Carolina but it's trying to blend in you know what I'm sayin'. Went ordered the drive-tru window, very friendly workers and the food was nice and warm for my tasting. I hope "Del Taco will expand to other places here in Cackalacky!

The place seem nice, have out door sitting as well. The menu has a lot of different items compared to like Taco Bell. There's fish tacos and your meal come with fries which kind of threw me off. So I decided to get the tostada, Street chicken taco, and the crispy chicken ranch taco. All on the value menu. The street taco speak for itself, how it looks in the photo is how it's taste, not Soo great. Way too soggy, not even sure what that sauce is. The crispy chicken ranch taco was a whole lot better. Chicken was crispy and the ranch pair well with the hot sauce. I had the del inferno hot sauce. The tostada was crunchy with tons of beans if you like beans ( I do) and taste really good with some Del inferno hot sauce.

This was my first time at this location. A kind lady took my order and was very polite at the window. I ordered the chicken quesadilla. I opened it up and it was very greasy! Probably from the cheap cheese. I had to wipe it off. I noticed the chicken was only on half the quesadilla and the rest was just cheese. It had a bland flavor so I threw most of it away. I won't be ordering that again. I will return to try something else eventually like a taco or burrito. If the food is better with flavor I will update this post. I used the drive through so I'm not sure what the inside looks like.

1st and last time! I ordered the meal and paid for upgrade of salsa, pico and sour cream. Didn't get it so went and ask to be remade. I was told I only paid for upgrade on one taco! WTH. It was a meal! You are telling me a .50 cent upgrade for each condiment was not for both! Remade and still left it off. Great service guys!

Beef nachos, loaded fries, misc items

Why can't you order in the app for this location? So frustrating that you can't- that means you also can't get rewards. Some things are really good- the fried cheesecake dulce de leche things, the nachos. Other items wernt my fav- the chicken soft taco, quesadilla.

The tacos I thought I was getting versus the tacos I got.

I was expecting it to be a Taco Bell clone, but the flavors are actually totally different. I love that they have seafood options.

5 Stars! 10 if I could. I didn't expect a food truck, to turn into one of the most memorable…read moreexperiences I had during my 1st visit to North Carolina, But that's exactly what happened at Taco Bros in Greensboro, NC. First off, this isn't just a random food truck. There is such an incredible story behind it. It's run by Gary and his best friend Alex, who have been friends since grade school back in Mexico City, Mexico!! You can feel that deep history in the way they run their business. There's a level of trust, energy, and authenticity that you don't usually see, and it trickles down to the entire team!!!Every employee I interacted with was genuinely happy, welcoming, and proud to be there (which says a lot) especially during these times. They've also set themselves up in some of the best spots around. I visited : 1) Summerfield Farms. 2) Oden Brewing Company. At both locations, you're not just grabbing food, you're getting a whole experience! Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Live music, dog friendly. The menu is simple, affordable, and done right. We got to try 4 different tacos, their queso dip, and their churros, and everything delicious! The meat was seasoned to perfection, super juicy, and full of flavor without being overcomplicated. But what really made this experience unforgettable? I got invited onto the truck to make my own churros!! let me tell you, that is not something you get to do every day. It was hands-on, fun, and honestly one of the most unique experiences I've had, collaborating with another business. By the end of it, it didn't even feel like a transaction anymore, we became friends! Taco Bros isn't just serving food, they're building up thier community. And that's something you don't come across often.

Overall the truck seemed very clean and hygienic for a food truck. The staff was incredibly friendly and organized. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. The prices are a bit high which is common for food trucks. Guac and chips was $10 and the chicken quesadilla was $14. One thing that would have been a nice touch was Jarritos. The chicken quesadilla was good but could have used a bit more seasoning. It was good sized and stuffed full of chicken, onions, peppers, and cheese. Overall we enjoyed Taco Bros and would definitely try them again at another event.

I sit in my car in this ugly ass area, and dig into some damn good tacos - very well filled with meat and cheese, topped with cilantro, chopped white onion, lime wedges and sliced radishes. Nice touch was the well grilled sliced onion, and the two sauces, verde and Rojo. Loaded up and fully engaged there are few places that can top these tacos. All the dishes we ordered were fresh, authentic and came out quickly. The salsas were perfectly spicy. The gorditas are so yummy and there's so many protein options it was hard to choose. But there is more to an authentic bowl of Menudo than tripe and hominy - it calls for beef trotters (calve hoofs) as well as bone marrow, often from veal bones, and a lot of prep time! And a peppery sauce made from Guajillo peppers, oregano, garlic, onions, and more. But this is a very popular dish among Mexican households, often served on special occasions and holidays, and often on weekends because of the lengthy, labor intensive process when the dish is truly authentic! Tripe is the edible lining of the stomach of farm animals like cows, pigs, sheep and goats. Beef tripe is chewy and has a mild beef flavor. It takes on the flavors of what it is cooked in, so usually it is used in a flavorful soup or stew, as is the case with Menudo. The Menudo served here is good, but lacks authenticity. If there was any bone marrow or meat from trotters I didn't find it! The tripe, cut into 1 to 2 inch pieces, was a bit chewy, but only a bit, and the sauce was good, but not great, the heat was limited. The toppings of chopped onions, chopped green peppers, cilantro, and lime wedges were fresh and elevated the overall flavor.

She was impressed with their posts and they made it easy to navigate their weekly schedule. We arrived shortly after 4pm on a Saturday afternoon at 801 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston. There were several cars there but no line. We approached the food truck and started looking over the menu. Everything they do features birria style meat. Neither of us have much experience ordering birria style dishes but the young man at the window was helpful in his recommendations on what to order for now and what dishes would save best for leftovers. We went with his recommendation to share the quesadilla now and order the tacos for later. The prices range from $12-15 per item but they also have a birria pizza for $35 which looks large enough to feed several people. We paid with a credit card and we're provided a small device that alerts customers when their orders are ready. This was the first time we have ever received something like this and though it was brilliant because so many times you order at a food truck you are stuck standing close by so you can hear your name when the order is ready. Our food was prepared in a timely manner and we decided to drive up the road before eating. When we opened up our containers everything looked incredible. We immediately dug in and the quesadilla was full of delicious ingredients and flavor. I took a few pictures of my tacos but saved them for later. I'm happy to report that they were delicious heated up. We will absolutely be back soon to try even more!
