I was charged $58 to have my eyelashes tinted. Menu said $29 for the service. Hunter informed me that price was per eye! What?? So with tip, I paid $70 for a service that should cost no more than $25. She also didn't accept my Groupon. She spilled black dye in my blonde hair and didn't tell me until it was too late. She gave me two samples to make up for it. This place is a joke. Independent salons are MUCH better AND affordable! I'm writing it off as a terrible experience and will move on. The prices that are advertised are inconsistent with what they charge. I booked a service online and then received a text message the next morning saying that the booking fee was much higher. They would not honor the fee that I was booked online and then told me I would be charged 50% cancellation even though I was notified within less than 12 hours. Very poor customer service and I was told I cannot speak with anyone at the specific location only customer service. Save your time and money. I would prefer to give them a zero rating but I wasn't able to. read more

By far the most painful experience I've had at a lash place. I went in for a removal, after the first lash tech canceled on me 30 minutes before, thinking at least I could still get in on the same day. The woman who did my removal was not friendly, when I voiced that I was in pain multiple times she said nothing, and eventually got aggravated with me and handed me a tissue and told me I was done. She charged my card, didn't tell me how much she was charging for until after I asked once it was done. I got out to my car and realized I still had half a dozen lashes on my eyes. I asked to be refunded and they told me that they do not issue refunds. I will never return. Do not waste your time here. There are plenty of other locations that are better. read more

Do not use this facility! Trust me, you will not be sorry! I feel as though they are very unexperienced! I had a full set of classic eyelashes done there. Many were falling out as I was getting out of my chair. By the next day half of my lashes was off of my right eye, and by the second day 3/4 of all the lashes were out.! I could feel the glue when I shut my eyes just rubbing your finger over it was very lumpy and itchy.! I called to have them redone or fixed and got an appointment for two days later unfortunately a branch went through my windshield and I couldn't make it so I called ahead of time to cancel and to have it rescheduled their answering service that they had that answered the phone said that would be no problem at all because it was a free of charge fix and I had five days to use! Well, let me tell you they do not honor what they say. They called me back and said since I canceled they cannot fix the lashes. What a joke I was told they would call me back to see when I could reschedule. It's a scam they make you give a credit card, which doesn't state in the Groupon at all.! so buyer beware if you're using a Groupon you will get a shitty service! Make sure when you give your credit card information you check your card frequently they have been known to charge additional fees! They take your money do a terrible job and make any excuse not to fix their crappy job!! I suggest if you have had the issue I had to contact Groupon directly and demand your money back. They cannot be allowed to keep getting away with this.!! read more

I went to Deka Lash for a while in 2019 before my bridal shower and wedding and I always loved my lashes! I went elsewhere earlier this month and absolutely hated the lashes I was given (asked for classic and got full volume). I ventured back to Deka Lash today and I LOVED the outcome. I did the true express full set from Groupon and I couldn't be happier. Bianca was so kind, gentle, she listened to what I wanted (and didn't want) and offered her honest opinion about aftercare products. I will definitely be back, she did a wonderful job! read more

Worst dekalash location in the pittsburgh area. Two lash artists got in a fistfight here once and the police were called . Fights, fraud, unauthorized charges, inexperienced artists with bare minimum training and skill. Just avoid it and go to any other location. My esthetician was nice enough. I scheduled a Brow Lamination and tint, totaling around the $90-$95 pre tip. No explanation of the process with the exception of when she cleansed the brows and added the solution that smelled like perm solution. Total time took around 30 minutes. I asked about after care (wetting the brows/face) she was sure, shouted across the studio to ask someone else. Both said yes it's fine to wet them only lashes required to stay dry for a day. When handed the mirror, I was horrified that this service did not include a cleanup wax. Or even tweeze! I had to ask for tweezers to do so myself?!! At checkout there was no further after care instructions other that I could rebook online in 4 weeks. I went home, did some of my own learning including Deka social media, and I'm left disappointed. Overall the look is ok- bold for me but I realize the tint will fade. Unfortunately as a consumer please do your own research because the trained professionals may not be properly informing you after spending your hard earned money. 1. You SHOULD NOT get brows wet in first 24-48 hours. Like a perm, right wink wink. If you do you are undoing the chemicals. 2. You should receive complimentary after care conditioning oil. I learned this from Deka social and no it wasn't offered or mentioned so???? 3. Research pre visit including providers, their work, and knowledge of this service. This was a lot to pay in my opinion for Having to finish my brows myself. Not happy wouldn't return. read more

Loved my lashes when I left the studio Thursday! I got them done for a wedding I was in Saturday. Unfortunately more than half of them were missing by then. And just about the rest are gone now. I called the studio to request a refund being the event had past and honestly having only half the lashes made for an awful makeup appointment as there wasn't much she could do (they were falling out with every little bump). Originally was told a refund was possible. Then was told they would have to reach out to the owner. Didn't hear back for just about a day. I called back to find out that since the services were already rendered they would not issue the refund. You know what else was rendered? My money for a service that wasn't completed correctly apparently. They offered for me to come in and get them fixed and that's it. I'll pass completely wasted 2 hours getting them on in the first place for a wedding that is already happened. So frustrating and disappointing out $85 bucks! *update have found out from several different people that got their lashes done around the same time that there were issues with the adhesive and others are experiencing the same issues. This business is not customer friendly and has terrible customer service. My girlfriend booked her first appointment here through groupon. After arriving on time, she was turned away to be rescheduled for the next day because the manager decided she didn't want to take groupon. This time the appointment was booked through the manager of the store. We showed up 10 minutes early for her appointment and after waiting for 20 minutes past her appointment time. We were not acknowledged for our time waiting and after requesting for some sort of explanation as to why we weren't able to receive prompt service or to receive a voucher for an appointment the manager was extremely rude and abrasive in her response. I will not be back to this chain and would advise to be extremely wary of spending your money here. read more

Got my lashes done on Monday and they were off by Wednesday. Despite alleged 5 day policy they would not assist or accommodate me to get them refilled, customer service is rude as hell including the manager. Listen to the reviews, they are a terrible business. Honestly at first I was in love I got a groupon just to try it out, ended up loving my lashes signed up for a membership and then it all went down hill.... I called to inform them that 50% of my lashes fell off my one eye and not one person seemed surprised. Then I scheduled a fix and ended up needing to move it to another day because of work. When I tried to reschedule it was a HUGE deal and they couldn't do anything so basically I at this point had no lashes left and they wouldn't fix it. When I called to cancel the membership they informed me that the girl I had was new and that was probably the reason why and they STILL wouldn't reschedule me... I had recommended this place to multiple people but after my experience I do t recommend this place to a single person read more

I have never tried this before and was really excited to get it done only to be disappointed. Very pleasant when I walked in but went down after that. Tammy who was my tech didn't introduce herself to me and just said come back here. I went back explaining I have never done this before and she didn't offer anything from which I had purchased on Groupon. Maybe that is why I got the treatment I did. I explained I wanted longer and fuller. She said lay down never offering me a place for my keys and sunglasses. Then it was close your eyes and we started. No conversation with me at all. After she was done she gave me a mirror and I told her I was disappointed with the fullness. Length was good. She said I should have gotten a different one. (If she had explained the one I purchased wouldn't have given me what I hoped for she could have said for x amount more I can do that). When I was finished she just dismissed me with a card of do's and don'ts and DON'T get the lashes wet. Have a nice day. I will not be back. Very disappointed customer. read more

Caitlyn was amazing! It was my first time getting lashes on and she was super helpful, patient, and kind. I wasn't so sure I would be willing to spend the money each month to get these put on, but I really like them and the Monroeville salon is nice and relaxing. I was fighting off falling asleep!
