This is a no frills park but its decent. You can enter the park from Burnett Avenue (where there is also ample parking) or you can enter the park from Newark Way where you won't find much parking.
There is a "Multi-Purpose Field", a kids playground, a small street hockey rink and a tennis court. Sometimes there are kids sitting or playing around in the tennis court area but what else would you expect from kids. Around the multi-purpose field (soccer, football, lacrosse) there is a path that many use as a running track. It's paved all around and there are areas where the path slopes up and/or down. It's not a perfect track but for running it will do just fine. One mile is about 3 laps if not a little more than 3 laps. There is also an area to work out there are a few machines for use including pull up/chin up, squat, step machine.
During spring/summer more people will be found at this park especially during the evening hours after 5pm. Dog walkers, kids, parents, and usually there is a game or practice in the field.
I come here for running so my rating is based on my ability to run and get that type of workout. It's not your typical park but for the neighborhood I like it. My review is skewed as all i do is run, it would be nice to see other runners here. read more
