Came by after seeing the signs for founders day. They were artists with paintings come up photography, artist, and activities for kids. I like to usually beautiful, but we cherry blossom trees in full bloom, it was snowing petals. Very romantic! Is Park home beautiful fields, and benches to sit and relax. Now that spring is here it's perfect for lounging around, bird and people watching.

A park with a playground includes multiple slides and swing sets, situated among tall trees with dense foliage. The ground is covered with gravel, and there are a few children and adults present. The sky above is overcast with dark clouds, and parked cars are visible in the background, indicating a community recreational area.

Very nice safe and clean playground for the kids! For different age group! Will def bring the kids back here!

Beautiful little park - A landscape view of a park with a large pond reflecting the sky and surrounding trees. A stone bridge with arches crosses the pond, and a building with a gabled roof and multiple dormer windows is visible on the left side. The scene includes leafless trees, indicating early spring or late fall, under a blue sky with wispy clouds.

What a beautiful little park. You can do a quick loop a few times to get in to 10k a day steps. Also, the lake is very pretty. One of the cleanest parks in New Jersey. Highly recommend if you are around the area.

Baver Community Center

Some places are special only because they remind you of your childhood a time that now seems too surreal. Who was I then, I am not sure. What I do remember is the joy of the experiences I had in Taylor Park. Taylor Park was dedicated in May 29th, 1924, a gift from Mrs. John (Gertrude) Taylor. It gained an air of prestige from it's designer, the son of Frederick Law Olmstead. The rose garden entrance one of the remaining vestiges of his work is as magnificent as I remember. The varieties of Japanese maples and the Baver Community Center with it's fountain and pond showing off it's prominence highlight the park. You can still ice skate on the pond, Covid-19 permitting. The baseball field is still there. The basketball court where I would play with my buddies is a little worn but totally functional. They added a small fitness center and the child's playground could use some updating but through my eyes it is as it always was a place to have fun. This Sunday, I came to Taylor Park to have fun again meeting with some Millburn and Short Hills friends to play doubles tennis. It was nice to come back to Millburn and Taylor Park.

Taylor park concert with Street Hassle and Brass Balls band

I came here with friends specifically to see The Band Street Hassle and Brass Balls. This is a 10 piece band with horns that played at Taylor Park as part of The Millburn free summer concert series which takes place in the summer. This park is very easy to get to and there is parking on the street all around. It is also not far from Main Street in Millburn so after going to the concert you could stop in Scotty's or a near by bar and have a drink or two. The park itself is beautiful and right by where the band played about 100 ft or so was a food truck selling homemade pizzas. Near there was enclosed bathrooms. To the right of where I was sitting is a beautiful pond and it has a fountain in the center. You can walk around the lake or bring lawn chairs, or a blanket for sitting. I would suggest you pack your own food or snacks along with drinks and watch one of the free concerts... This place is very kid friendly, the only thing is you can't leave the little ones unattended because there are cars always going by.. I saw several people bring their dogs in the park and they were watching the concert with them..Many of the locals walk from their homes. It's also a good idea to bring bug spray as the sunsets because I felt the bugs biting at dusk. I learned they also have tennis courts and basketball courts for playing. All around it's a nice park.

Love this park...my favorite features in the park are the water fountain and the flower garden. There is much more offered here...tennis, picnic tables, baseball field, basketball court, etc.

Really friendly staff gave the kids a scavenger hunt page that turned our visit into part garden tour, part treasure hunt. Between the terraces, tile work, grottoes, and gardens, the whole place blends European formality with a whimsical, art nouveau vibe. Plenty of benches invite you to sit and talk, while fenced-in chickens, geese, and beehives bring the grounds to life. The gardens feel peaceful, playful, and magical all at once. The beauty here is truly un-beleaf-able! NOTES/TIPS: **Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors/students, and $5 for kids, with free parking close by. **Very limited wheelchair-accessibility: okay for the Main Terrace and some flat areas, but most paths are sloped or uneven, so access is limited. **Restrooms near the entrance.

This place is a true paradise garden hidden somewhere in New Jersey !!!…read more The whole place is so beautiful , very serene , easy to navigate and kept very clean and green . It is definitely somewhere to go for a romantic date . The only issue I found with the place is that we couldn't find the gift shop or the little concession stand - coffee and snack . That was disappointing. Also staff is friendly but doesn't seem to be very good at giving directions . Aside from that it is such a beautiful place to visit
