I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mike Daly, Family Service Advisor at Dignity…read moreMemorial/Woodlawn Cemetery. Making decisions regarding final arrangements can be emotional, personal, and sometimes overwhelming, and Mike handled every conversation with an incredible amount of kindness, patience, professionalism, and compassion. What impressed me most was that I never felt pressured or rushed. Mike took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, explain my options, and give me sound, knowledgeable advice. He never made me feel uncomfortable about any of the decisions I was considering or about changing my mind along the way. Instead, he gave me the space and information I needed to make the decision that was right for me. Mike also went above and beyond by doing a considerable amount of research on my behalf, without ever making me feel that his help was dependent upon me purchasing anything or using his services. That level of integrity is rare and meant a great deal to me. These are incredibly delicate and personal decisions, and having someone who approaches them with genuine care rather than pressure makes all the difference. I left my experience feeling informed, respected, and completely comfortable with the guidance I received. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mike Daly to anyone needing assistance with cemetery or final-arrangement decisions. His compassion, knowledge, patience, and integrity truly set him apart. Thank you, Mike, for treating me like a person first and a customer second.

(I live out of town) In mid-July I spoke with Bodicea who promptly took my money for the engraving. I won't get into why the staff didn't originally include that when we finalized her arrangements. I've made 5 phone conversations to get a status, and nothing has progressed. Conveniently, they blame their engraver. They have made NO effort to update me. I continue to chase this down 10 weeks after my 1st call. In 2019 Woodlawn provided terrible service for my mother's service. The flowers we ordered were wilted and looked like they sat outside overnight. The video they said would be a celebration was morose and I asked them to redo it. Their "family support mgr" put the HARD sell for months on family members to make our final arrangements. Don't use Woodlawn!

She was due to be picked up on a Friday. Unfortunately, not only did that never happen, but the transplant team and myself could not get anyone to get back to us for an update. They have had her for over a week now and messages and emails have been sent for an update and again, all have gone unanswered. A simple call or email with an update is all our family needs at this difficult time. It is disgusting that this facility cannot provide either.
