Like they were phoned in. And...today at Sams Club, I found: Pastor Taco filling in the re-heat section of the Club. The shape of the cut? The same! In fact, I'd bet that that's what I was served. Reheated (in a microwave) Sam's Club Pastor. Then there's the service. Rude is the first impression, follow by total apathy. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived, and only one person came in while we were there. The entire staff were buried on their phones. When they had to engage with us -- which was rare -- it was as if we were asking them to roll a boulder up the side of a mountain. They simply didn't want to be inconvenienced. They wanted to be tipped and that's all they cared about. The cost of the meal vs the reality of the meal: $100 for four people, for substandard, bland Mexican food, that could be outdone by a fast food outlet. Add in the apathetic staff, and I cannot stress strongly enough that you should avoid this place. Save your money. If you must have Mexican food in Oxford, there are other places. And all of them are better. This restaurant deserves to go out of business.

I love that I can choose the Thai chili tofu as my protein, and it's actually good tofu -- firm, crispy, and flavorful instead of the usual mushy version you find elsewhere. The customization is another huge plus. You can load your tacos with far more than the standard lettuce and tomato, choosing from a variety of slaws, salsas, sauces, and toppings. My personal favorite combination is the Dirty Sauce (definitely spicy, so be warned!) with lettuce, poblanos, onions, and the corn mix. The tacos are generously sized, so 2-3 will leave you completely satisfied, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. This is also a perfect place for larger groups or families. We have friends who love bringing their kids because everyone can fill out their own order form and customize exactly what they want. I have to recommend the salsa roja and chips as an app. It's easily one of my favorite salsas. It has the perfect consistency with just the right balance of spice and sweetness. Yevette's location was only 5 minutes away from the restaurant we went to but it was unannouncingly closed, so we gave her a shot after seeing her 5-star reviews. Her trick was open, and her menu is very basic but we were pleasantly surprised with how good her food is. My wife got soft shell, I got hard shell and we loved her taco's and will be back. Options were beef, turkey, or collared greens vegetarian taco's. If you are in the mood for food truck taco's you will not be disappointed. I added just a touch of salt to mine but we both thought her meat was wonderfully seasoned, and her hard and soft home made shells were delicious. Try her! You won't be disappointed!
