Taco Special with Marinated Pork Taco (el pastor)
    Rayce P.

We love the Poncho's Tacos in Wyoming, and we're happy to report that this location is just as wonderful! Our food is regularly brought out super quickly, and it's always piping hot. The el pastor tacos are second to none, and their taco special is a great deal for a tasty and filling meal. We'll definitely be coming back for more!

    $10 taco deal

$10 taco deal gets you 3 tacos with rice and beans. Great portion and it tasted decent. Generous portion of grilled onions included. I found the beans too liquidy and their salsa bitter. If they upped their salsa game, that'd make a huge difference. Closed Sundays.

Food: * Chips and Salsa were good. The chips looked to be homemade and the salsa was flavorful and not too hot. * Steak Fajitas were great! Came out sizzling hot. Probably the best steak flavor I've tasted in Michigan so far. Great portion... lots of steak, peppers, onions and corn tortillas. Service: * The place was really busy with a lot of to go orders / door dash so the we had a short wait. The server was very nice and pleasant, she brought us chips right away and then came back for our drink and food order. Ambiance: * Small local feel; Music playing on an old speaker; small counter for those waiting for to go orders; four tables of four in the front and looked to be additional seating in the back. Overall: * Loved the place! We will be back!!

Top to bottom: Pastor, Shrimp, Asada tacos.

If I could I would buy stock in this place. The food was delish. The front counter attendants were super nice, I might even venture to say I like it better than Donkey . The atmosphere was relaxed but you could tell they were very efficient. I had a shrimp, Asada, and pastor taco. I also got a chorizo panchos (nachos). I only ordered the tacos because usually when you order nachos the amount of chips overwhelms the toppings and you end up hungry. NOT THE CASE. I made the mistake of assuming that was the case and didn't open the nacho box until after I had eaten my tacos. 6 chips in and I was full! The meats were all perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The pastor has pineapple pieces in it which I normally wouldn't want but it was delicious. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned. The asada is a classic and they knew not to mess with it. *Chefs kiss* 10/10

Rude responses to customers on social media

We have been loyal Poncho Taco customers since their Wyoming location opened and we were so happy when they opened their 2nd location closer to our home. We loved them so much, we reached out for catering for our upcoming wedding. However, we are extremely disappointed with the customer service provided when making our catering inquiry. I first reached out via Facebook messenger a year ago when we first got engaged, and they left my message on read. I brushed it off because I figured it wasn't the best way to reach out for catering information and we weren't ready to book yet anyway. Fast forward a year, we were ready to book a caterer so I reached out to Poncho again, this time by email (listed on their Facebook page to reach out for catering) and I did not receive a response for 4 days, until I commented on a post they shared asking for a response. I genuinely feel like if I wouldn't have reached out again, they wouldn't have responded. When they did get back to me, they provided very limited information; just they have a 100 person minimum and it was 23.99 pp + fees, with pictures of their condiment bar and food truck. They did not include a menu, or include what food would be included in the quoted price or even what level of service they'd be offering. I had to ask for details! Who books a caterer without knowing what food they'll be getting? It felt very transactional and not like they cared about the possibility of catering our wedding. We decided to go with a different caterer that clearly laid out options and provided exceptional customer service. Still, just because their catering customer service isn't up to par, we still like their food so we grabbed them for dinner tonight. We were surprised to find that our total was $90 for 10 tacos, asada fries and an asada quesadilla. Something we used to pay $65-70 for. They've raised their prices, took their menu offline and did not inform their customers of the price raise. While their food is good, it's not the best I've had, and I'm definitely not paying luxury food prices for tacos and subpar service. I've also noticed their customer service in general declining in person when picking up our order as well as how they interact with customers online. They are very short and condescending in their responses. While Ponchos is convenient, there are just too many other taco places out there that offer great customer service and price transparency to continue to support them. They no longer offer their 3 taco, rice and bean special for 9.99 which is what a lot of people began going to them for. Expect to pay $5+ for just one taco if you want cheese added on to it.

If you like authentic Mexican food, this is the restaurant for you! The food was excellent, along with large portions is well worth a visit.

    Pork taco platter

Absolutely delicious and now my new favorite Mexican restaurant. Fresh and full of flavor! My husband had the steak wet burrito and it was huge, he loved it. I had the shredded chicken taco platter and my daughter has the pork with pineapple taco platter. Suzanne the owner is so personable and made us feel so welcome. We are so happy the division location is open and can't wait to go back.

Honestly it was an incredible location for a space and had such a great vibe inside. My best friend is a regular at the restaurant and we're hoping to see them more in smaller capacities like when we saw them at the Fulton St. Market. Overall, the food was really good. I like the concept of fast-casual dining without the need to have a server. I think it allows things to feel more casual and allowed for me to be more willing to eat there (obviously in other circumstances lol). I got the horchata hot cakes with some of the papas with ghost sauce. I thought the pancakes were GREAT and more than worth it for the price. I was surprised how large and fluffy they were. The flavor was great without being too sweet and none of the flavors being too overpowering. My friends got the breakfast sandwiches and chaichata drinks and absolutely loved them. My friend loved her drink so much she got two within the span of us eating. I know it's a hard time for local businesses but I'm hoping there are more ways we can still see them around.

Different from the last time I was here but we were told to find a seat upon entering and that when we were ready, we could order our food at the counter. I looked over their menu and found lots of good breakfast taco options, the breakfast burrito I have heard is great, but what really caught my attention was the biscuits and gravy. I was feeling quite ravenous this morning and got the full order for $11 and a side of bacon. They had a table close to the entrance with extra menus, clean cups, water jugs, hot sauces, silverware and napkins. Seemed like a help-yourself vibe which I grabbed everything we would need for our meal. Our food was brought to us rather quickly and my bf ordered the breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs and sausage. He told me it tasted so good and he loved that he could make his own tacos with his food. He let me try one of the hashbrown rounds and it was perfectly crispy! My biscuits and gravy were phenomenal. The biscuits were so fresh and the gravy had a really nice and comforting flavor to it. You could get chorizo and mushrooms in your gravy but i went with a traditional sausage for my protein. My bacon on the side came in a tiny dish but I ate all four pieces haha. Once we finished, there were some bus bins under the same table with the silverware, we placed all our dirty dishes there and cleaned up after ourselves before leaving. I honestly felt so content leaving there and can't wait to return. I really appreciate the ambiance in there with the beautiful plant life, the lights on the ceiling, and cool decor in general. The staff was also SO NICE! Wins everywhere. I also noticed people coming in for takeout which is good to know in case I don't feel like dining in some morning. Please check this place out sometime if you're in the mood for some really good breakfast that doesn't break your bank account.

Service was quick, efficient, and everything came out to order. The food was good. We tried a protein bowl, a couple tacos, and a three buds dip trio. The Street Corn dip is amazing, but neither of us were fans of the dirty queso. There was a single piece of chicken in it, which was huge, just not super scoopable! Tacos were delicious. It's already summer at Condado, which also means $6 frozen margs! Of course, I had to indulge and the prickly pear lavender single-handedly will get me back to Condado all summer. My fiancé was eager to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs, so we were delighted to see that there were screens playing popular events and a couple shows to enjoy over dinner. This is a great mix between your typical bar & (non-authentic but tasty) Mexican cuisine.

We went for a family dinner on a Sunday with a group of seven, including two kids, and had a great experience from start to finish. Kids eat free on Sundays, which was such a nice surprise, and the kids' menu is generous with great options--an entrée, a side, and a drink. My husband and I also enjoyed flight night, which was a lot of fun. I tried the strawberry, prickly pear lavender, and harvest pear margaritas. They were all very good--while the prickly pear lavender sounded better than it tasted for me personally, it was still enjoyable. One of my favorite things about Condado is the customization. Their signature creations are great, but being able to build a taco exactly how I want it is my favorite part. And I could honestly live off their corn salsa--it's so good and always a must-have! The restaurant was super clean and not very busy when we visited, so we were seated right away and our food came out quickly. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, especially with our energetic little ones. It was also the first time our parents had eaten at Condado, and they loved it--they're already talking about going back to try more tacos and dips. We had such a great experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this location!
