I was doing other running around and ended up walking in the store 2 minutes before closing (hate to be that person)! Employees were nothing but helpful and friendly. I knew exactly what I needed and asked an employee where I could find it, so I could get out of the store as fast as possible. She quickly helped me, but the poster I needed was out of stock. Another employee was near, so I just asked how often the posters were restocked. She let me know pretty often, so I said, "Okay. I will check back another day." The employee did not let me walk away and insisted I showed her what I was looking for and she gladly stated she would look in the back for me. I told her it was not a big deal at all as the store was now closed. The employee said, "No. You are here. I am going to check for you. We've just been so busy all day we have not had time to restock." She came back with exactly what I needed, and we are now best friends- except I am disappointed in myself as I did not get her name. The store still had about 10 customers in it, yet every employee was willing to help people get what they needed instead of rushing them out. I haven't seen customer service like that in a LONG time! This is a darling place to get gifts. They have cute homemade items like covers for iPads and Kindles plus lots of seasonal items. Right now there are a multitude of Yule tide red and green wonderfulness everywhere you look. Full time items they stock are Nora Fleming serving and party ware with all the cute mini's. Oh boy, this store is way too close to me with all those adorable choices. My daughter had received a Nora Fleming serving platter for a wedding gift and while I lusted after it, it was an abstract yearning. Now the source to satisfy that craving is oh so nearby with friendly people who work there and other reasons to visit. I have already succumbed once, buying a cake stand and a blue bird mini for my daughter for Christmas. How long before I mosey over "just to look" and end up with my own Nora Fleming habit? I asked if she had anything that had hummingbirds on it and she quickly suggested a few options. She asked my budget and showed me one of the loveliest table cloths I have ever seen. She said it was over my budget but she'd give it to me to meet my budget. I bought something else for my sister and she even took a few dollars off of that for me. She was incredibly helpful and friendly and even put it in a nice gift box for me with tissue paper. I would recommend this store to anyone in or visiting the Frankfort area. I will DEFINITELY be going back and SOON!
