The plant basket I selected was absolutely beautiful...to the point that my friend called the florist after she received it to let them know how much she loved it and that she would use them in the future. I found their prices to be reasonable and I would definitely use Hearts and Flowers again!

Update: I am appalled by the owner's dishonest and unprofessional response. I have documented…read moreevidence that directly contradicts her claims. The "repeated calls" she referenced are inaccurate. My call logs from Mother's Day show I called the shop exactly twice, once to confirm the order and once when it was hours late. For a $100+ delivery, this is reasonable follow-up, not harassment. Regarding today's interaction, after seeing the owner's response to my Google review, I called hoping to have the professional conversation she publicly invited. The call lasted exactly 42 seconds before she began yelling and hung up on me. There was no argumentative tone or abuse on my end, and there was not even enough time for a full sentence. I also find it highly inappropriate and offensive that the owner attempted to publicly attribute 'anxiety' to me. I have never been diagnosed with anxiety by a professional, nor do I have it. Using a baseless claim about a customer's mental health to deflect from a wrong order is a serious overstep and speaks volumes about the business's ethics. The owner, to my knowledge, is a florist; not a psychologist. As for the refund, I never requested one. My concern was receiving the product I paid for. If the refund is being used as justification to avoid accountability, I am willing to return it if that prevents further misrepresentation of the situation. A pattern is also visible in other one-star reviews for this business. When customers raise legitimate concerns, the response tends to focus on attacking their character or claiming they were "yelling" rather than addressing the actual issue with the order. I am keeping this review up to warn others that if there is a problem with an order, it is likely to be met with deflection rather than resolution.

Waiter for months after calling, texting and going into the store for a quote to have them do…read moreseasonal porch planters. That should have been my first clue- lack of customer service and follow up. Finally got a quote of 175-200 for a planter and was told it would most likely be less. I received a text from owner, saying after plants were installed, my total was $540! I was told prior I would get a say or input on design choices when they were planted- the women came while I was gone, which is fine, but prior to that no options were given. Just a price- which I did approve. When I asked why this was so high I was told Two hours for labor and additional taxes. Really? My ring door bell shows she was here less than 20 min. I should have been informed there would be add ons (labor, taxes) during the quote. That would be the professional business and honest thing to do. Clearly the owner does not value my business because I was told to bring the plants back and leave them back the back door. What a waste of my time. Do not recommend this business for poor customer service and appreciation. Shame

Us crafters who pretend to be better than we think get to come 2 times a year. Buying AMAZING QUALITY pieces at whole prices and then 1/2 off. Please consider what I just said. You know that roll of ribbon you buy, take that, put the wholesale price on it and then wack off 1/2 the cost. Seriously worth the drive. AND I did. It is 1 hour out of Chicago. Tons of ribbon and mesh and well everything. I hear, but I don't know, the fall version has more. I left with so much stuff my hybrid was packed to capacity. Here is the funny part. Instead of a cart they give you a box with a plastic bag attached. Yep just drag that puppy around. I filled a few of those in different sizes. No need to judge, I am going thru a phase. The workers were sooo helpful, but I went on a weekday and I closed the place down. It was about the size of a basketball court. I did not measure because it was so exciting. This is gucci of crafting. As stated I closed the place down, so they helped me load the car. If you can join the facebook page and watch for the sale and go during the week.
