I had gone from dark brunette back to blonde 6 months earlier, and still had a little bit of brassy orange in my hair. Georgia blasted me back to a wonderful honey-blonde and layered my grown-out, messy hair into a stylish, face-framing cut. I look ten years younger, and this hairstyle is so much easier to keep tidy. Not only is Georgia a master of what she does, but she's also incredibly sweet, funny and highly sensitive to her clients' needs. I was an esthetician for many years, and I'm very particular and tough to please. Georgia got my new cut and colour spot on, and I had a fun-filled few hours in her chair and some good laughs. Her prices are very reasonable and fair when you compare her high skill set to nearby salons that charge much more. I can confidently say I've found one of the best hairdressers in Halifax, and I won't be having anyone other than Georgia do my hair services from now on. Thank you, Georgia :-D

This little hair studio is located in a strip mall on Sackville Drive, and can be difficult to locate if you aren't paying attention. While I always make an appointment with my usual hair dresser, the 3's Company staff are great at fitting in drop-ins, and there are usually enough people working at a time to keep on schedule. What I've learned to love about getting my hair done here is how comfortable the environment is. The clientele is mainly women in their mid-teens or twenties and moms (my mom included). You wont find the most cutting edge styles or colors leaving through their doors but I've always walked away satisfied. That satisfaction is thanks in part to the compliments that everyone working gives me on every new do, but if it's a scheme to keep my business it's working.

Salon is a decent space, staff nice, but I didn't get the balayage I wanted and paid $265 for. The first time they tried coloring it, it was so far from the picture I provided they offered to do it a second time. Though it looked good when I left the salon the second time, 11 days later my hair is very brassy orange and I have to have it redone a third time. I contacted the owner whose explanation was you can only lighten hair so much per visit and offered nothing in the way of compensation. Well, if the stylist knew she couldn't achieve what I wanted, there was plenty of opportunity to explain this to me with my two visits and us messaging before my returning a second time. Bottom line is properly done balayage should not go from a blonde ish to an orange in less than two weeks after spending a total of 6 hours in a chair and spending the amount I did.
