Been waiting over an hour bleeding out  for someone to help me

I've been living here for over five years and I've always had issues with the shower doors here first time two years ago. The shower door fell on my foot. It took them six months to actually fix the problem and actually replace the whole shower doors fast forward to today, September 12th 2024 1:20pm I'm in the shower and the shower door shatters all over me and I literally am cut from my head to my toe. I have glass all over my neck my body my back, my legs, and feet. I had to step out the shower and I cut my feet. I called Maintenance as an urgent matter and spoke to Myra it took it her over an hour to even mention to maintenance they had another tenant to assist, 2:27 pm called again I asked to speak to a manager, she transferred me to corporate instead, corporate apologized for the wrong transfer and transferred me to the leasing office and nobody answered & went to VM. I called back and they tell me that they're gonna send someone sometime today. I'm just standing here bleeding out and it's been an hour already, I am I am shook. This has never happened to me. I don't know what to do and they just told me to wait for someone to come. Again, I am bleeding out. I have glass all over me and I cannot take the glass off of me because I try to wipe it off of my hands and with the cloth and it just cuts my skin. I've been standing here waiting patiently I don't know what to do. I called the leasing office again and they tell me that they're not trained for this stuff that I have to call 911 how could they not be trained or have a protocol when it comes to a tenant having an injury due to a maintenance issue, I cannot get in the shower to remove all the tiny pieces of glass on me. The shower is full of broken glass with water and the bathroom is completely full of glass on the floor and it's been over an hour and no one has done anything. I'm so upset that's the phone rep, Jessica told me that she was going to hang up the call because at this point she couldn't do anything for me, when I was explaining to her the situation and what happened to me and I asked for help. I specifically told her that Irvine Company needs to have a meeting with management and have a protocol for these type of incidents that happen because it is very unprofessional the way she treated me, if it was her mother she wouldn't be treating the situation the same! Jessica said she's not trained for these types of things. Literally left me bleeding here for over an hour. I'm still standing here with shattered tiny pieces of glass on my body I can't remove off my body until I shower it off otherwise I cut myself every time I try to wipe the glass off my skin. I'm just grateful this didn't happen to my child otherwise I would have been so pissed at the Irvine company for the delay. The only person throughout this whole process that was nice and went step-by-step and told me what was gonna be done was Italo, the first thing he did when he approached me was ask me if I was OK, which nobody did when I called the leasing office,!!!! he went step-by-step and told me what he was gonna do and he was going to fix the issue and fix the shower and fix the tub, another maintenance guy offered me to use a vacant shower, why didn't Myra or Jessica ask me if I was ok ?or offer me a vacant shower ? I asked her if I could just go downstairs to the pool area and shower myself and that open shower outdoors to try and get the glass that's stuck on my skin off, and she said she's not trained for this stuff . Instead they made me wait over an hour bleeding out on my carpet. It's is currently 3:09 pm I am standing outside my apartment with a towel & glass on me still while they're cleaning up the bathroom and I still have not showered and still have not cleaned my injuries because I am waiting for Maintenance to finish. Irvine company you need to do better! This is not the first time Irvine company deals with a shower door, so Irvine company should have had a protocol for this a long time ago! And for the record if your employees don't want to do their job and don't want to help tenants when there's an urgent matter or be trained correctly, what are they doing being employed with Irvine Company ? I am traumatized from this. I have cuts all over my body and my body is in pain from the glass falling on me.

Very prompt in completing the work order here at Deerfield. The gentleman in the maintenance team (lives here too) who's been taking great care of the property replaced the broken faucet to a brand new one and sealed the gap in 10 min today. He is always thoughtful, careful, and extremely quick to solve problems. I wish I could give him an award for his excellent work. Big shout-out for such a reliable work!!

Irvine company is overall the worst company to lease with. If you want to "Love where you live" do not lease with them.

I'm really conflicted writing this because my boyfriend and I actually like our apartment and the…read moreoverall vibe here, but the amount of misinformation we've dealt with in just 4 months is honestly unacceptable. When we were apartment hunting, a huge selling point was being told that each leaseholder would get 7 guest parking permits a month. It sounded like a decent plus to the nightmare parking situation (virtually no guest spots or street parking in general; $150/month for an extra parking spot with a year-long waitlist). Instead, we found out the leasing agent completely LIED to us--it's actually 7 permits PER household, not PER person. I know we did not mishear this during the leasing process and that we were explicitly told we would receive 21 permits in total for the 3 leaseholders we had for our unit. When I brought this up, management admitted we were lied to, but they didn't even offer a single solution or credit for the $10-per-pass fee we're now stuck with. It feels like they'll say anything just to get a lease signed. The lack of communication between the office and security is just as frustrating. I've been kicked out of the "24-hour" business center TWICE by security because they weren't told the correct hours. I actually had to email a leasing agent myself and show the security guard the email on my phone just so she'd believe me--and even then, she took a photo of it like she still didn't trust me. It shouldn't be the resident's job to train the building's security on their own amenities! On top of that, we've already had to re-sign our entire lease two months after moving in because the office messed up the numbers on the original documents. While the unit itself is modern and I appreciate the gym and the package lockers, the "unseen"parts of living here are exhausting. The fire alarms go off at 3 AM for no reason, the power has flickered out multiple times, and it took around a week to get a working microwave when ours died. I still have 11 months left on my lease, and I'm genuinely worried about what else was a lie or what else will break. I'm mostly upset that they admitted we were lied to by their agent and took no action to make it right with us. If you're looking to move here, I'd suggest getting every single promise in writing, because their verbal word doesn't seem to be honest. I will keep this updated.

Many have in-unit washer/dryers, and refrigerators are now included as well. What a plus! A few lucky residents have private yards, and everyone enjoys the upgraded pool and gym, as well as a small dog park on the premises. Serena Vista is family and pet-friendly, and many of the residents have lived here for nearly a decade. We stay for a reason. We love it here. The entire property has been newly painted and landscaped recently. SV is secluded from busy streets and freeway-close. It's the best of all worlds!

I initially lived in one of the outer apartments right next to the garages/dumpsters, but moved to an upstairs unit that was in the middle of the complex, Unit J1. Highly recommend both upstairs and middle complex because of the foot traffic and garages opening and closing. The walls are thin, that's just apartment living. Luckily I got one neighbor who was never home and my downstairs neighbor didn't mind my clogging practice. Really convenient having both in unit washer and dryers and multiple laundromats around. I never had an issue if I wanted to wash my duvet, the were never full. They also have a filtered water bottle filling station in the laundromat over by J1. Not sure if they have them in the others in the complex. (you're welcome). Sometimes I drive by just to reminisce on old times. The only small issue I had was with my deposit. When I moved out they tried to charge me for a cleaning fee, but I left my place spotless. Management companies in CA can charge a cleaning fee, but only to restore the unit to the same level of cleanliness it was in at the start of your tenancy. They cant cover "ordinary wear and tear". I ended up getting it refunded no problem, but just something to watch for.
