I hired Izzy to clean my home, which I also rent out as a vacation rental. During off-season, my…read morerentals are irregular and last-minute, but we had an understanding this was the case. My cleaning time was between 11 am and 3 pm, because that was the time range when guests checked out and checked in. At first, the cleanings went very well, but most of my guests also left the house relatively clean. I did find it strange that he told me, "My girls don't scrub." and that did leave me concerned. I thought perhaps that was standard in Florida (I've since learned it is not). Things went awry after my first messy guest. The cleaners left burnt on marks on the stove and chunks of soap and other stains in the shower. Fortunately, I was the one to arrive home and a guest never found this mess or my near 5-star rating on AirBnB would have been affected. Then, I hired Izzy's handymen to do some installations for me. We had several issues and apparently misunderstandings. However, amongst the issues were that, after a lengthy discussion about where I wanted the wiring to come out of the wall, including a discussion about the fact that a piece of wood along the wall was clearly only decorative and thus would not prevent them from going all the way to the bottom of the wall, where I wanted the installation done, they cut a hole in the wall, pretty much right at eye level. My house is nearly 100 years old, so cutting a hole in this wall that now needed a patch (quite a poorly done one, I will add), was quite upsetting. The refrigerator currently covers this spot, but I plan a remodel of the kitchen within a year and this will be VERY visible. The workman also washed up in my kitchen sink after working in the attic, despite the fact that there were dishes in there (I don't have a dishwasher, so I have no way to disinfect). They also did not clean up after themselves at all. Given that I pay Izzy's team to clean, I found it ironic that they left my place such a disaster. The living room, hall and kitchen were all quite disgusting. Lastly, I had a reservation come up where I needed Izzy's team to clean, as per our agreement. He told me they were not available in the time window upon which we had agreed. As a result, I had to do my own cleaning. I suspect that he had already decided he no longer wanted to do business with me, but I wish he had just said so, rather than leaving me in that position. I'm very disappointed with my experience with Izzy and his team. The first few months went great but things quickly went downhill.

My husband and I are not happy with Anaith from AMCG cleaning at all! The last time Anaith came to…read moreclean our house she was very rushed and left without cleaning one of our bathrooms. Unfortunately, her helpers did not do a very good job cleaning. For previous cleanings, each time she came to clean our house she had a different helper with her, which is fine with us as long as they know how to clean and we can communicate with them . This last time she came, her helpers didn't know how to clean very well . My husband mentioned that he was not happy with how dirty the floors were after being mopped and vacuumed. We had to re vacuum and mop our floors ourselves after they left. Anaith or her helpers completely missed cleaning our tub and toilet in our kids bathroom. The only reason we were able to get those cleaned is because she was in such a rush to get out of our house she kept leaving things there. My son had to run out and give her some cleaning rags she had left behind. I had to text her to let her know that she left a bucket with a bag in it. She came back to get the bucket and bag and that is when I showed her that they completely missed my kids tub and toilet. I know the only reason I was able to get my kids bathroom cleaned was because she had to come back to get her bucket and bag. After cleaning our house, she ran out the door and didn't say one thing to me. She didn't ask me if everything was okay or if anything else needed to be done. She left her son there to tell me to pay her, which was very impersonal and weird since my husband and I always pay her through zelle. She left other things at our house as well, that she's never come back to pick up. I don't know what was going on with her since she's cleaned our house other times before. Also, I actually run around every time before she comes to clean my house straightening everything up and getting as much off the countertops and as much off the floor as possible so it makes it easier and faster for her and her helper to clean. I also told her, anything on the floor that is not supposed to normally be there she can just ignore and clean around it without having to move any of it ( pictures that we haven't hung yet , suitcases from traveling still on the floor, Etc.) I spend probably a good 2 hours straightening up the house before the house cleaners come to my house and then I clean, fold laundry, and put things away the entire time there they're cleaning my house as well. I really try to make it as easy as possible for the house cleaners to clean my house , so I don't know what her problem or issue was, but my husband and I are not happy with her at all!! Her behavior was extremely unprofessional and left my husband and myself very confused!!

Now on to the review...So my girlfriend and I just moved into a 5-bedroom house we bought and it needed a good cleaning. We wanted this done ASAP since our furniture was arriving in a couple of days. We looked on Yelp for cleaners with good reviews and left messages for several of them. Theresa, the owner of #1 Awesome Cleaning Services, emailed me back almost immediately. When we spoke on the phone she came across as very responsive and personable. She said she could come the same day and brings all of her own cleaning equipment and supplies. Theresa called us when she was on her way and arrived punctually. She started by having us give her a tour of the things we wanted cleaned. Since this was a move-in cleaning, we wanted pretty much everything done including appliances, floors, bathrooms, etc. Once the tour was done, Theresa brought in all of her cleaning supplies and equipment and went to work. Let me tell you. Theresa doesn't walk around. She runs. When she mopped the floors, she didn't just daintily glide the mop over the surface but put her shoulders into it to get everything as clean as possible. She was at the house for about 5 hours and worked non-stop with intensity. Just out of curiosity, I asked her how come she was in such good shape to work so long and so hard and it turns out she previously owned her own fitness studio and was a trainer. Yup. That explains it. Theresa and #1 Awesome Cleaning Services rate an easy 5-star review. Theresa was not only responsive and friendly but did an amazing job cleaning our house. Some of our other family members also need cleaning help with their places and Theresa will be getting calls from them. It's nice to see there are still people and business that deliver great services at very decent prices. We will be using #1 Awesome Cleaning Services on a likely monthly basis.
