The lady that manages the location is truly a gem to speak with. She is so helpful and willing to help her patrons with folding and washing. She also provides change if needed. She has a very interesting past that is inspiring. If I ever go back it's be great to reconnect with her again. The laundromat itself is clean and tidy. Small(6£), medium (8£) and large (10£) These machines only accept 1£ coins but the attendant will exchange notes for them for u to use, no cc. Dryers are high heat and .5£ for every 4 min. Takes both 1 and 2£ coins. If you don't bring ur own detergent, they sell it for .5£ a cup which they'll top load for u before u start ur wash. No dryer sheets as they find the high heat to not leave u w any of the sheet scent anyway. They're open daily for varying hours and offer self wash as well as service wash for a small fee 3-5£ depending on machine size.

It costs about £3 per load for a coin-operated machine (£3.20 for a large machine) and more for service washes which you can leave and collect already dried and packed in a bag. There's a spinning machine, which is useful for getting the excess moisture out of the heavy items before drying (20p per spin cycle). The drying machines are relatively new and cost 20p for about 4 minutes, so it can cost up to £2 to dry a load of washing, depending on how heavy it is and whether you've put it in the spinner first. Very handy to have locally when your washing machine is bust (and apparently it's supposed to be more environmentally friendly to share resources like these).
