Unfortunately, this move was the complete opposite. The movers showed up smelly and unprofessional, and they argued with each other the entire time they were in my home. It was uncomfortable to watch, and on top of that, they were clearly milking the clock rather than working efficiently. When my furniture arrived, several pieces were damaged--including an $800 dresser with two legs broken off, leaving it unable to stand. Three lamp shades never made it into my home during unloading, and the company initially denied they were ever part of the move. For a whole week, they ignored my calls and messages about reimbursement, after saying they would get back to me in 24 hours. They only responded once my father got involved, and even then, their offer was insulting: $70 for the three missing lamp shades and $0 for the ruined dresser. I'm extremely disappointed in how drastically their service quality declined. This company is now unprofessional, careless, and unwilling to take responsibility. I regret booking with them again, and I strongly suggest choosing a different moving company if you want your belongings--and peace of mind--protected.

The owner Mario could not have been more pleasant and professional. He was accommodating to our last minute request and very fair on his price. His employee Jeremy was equally courteous and professional and it was clear that they knew what they were doing and, yes, took pride in their work! I have never used a moving company because I have mentally pictured that they THROW your belongings into their trucks while you are not looking. As for Mario and Anytime Movers, that is far from the case. They carefully removed, wrapped and padded the glass shelves from the cabinet. They then shrink wrapped the cabinet so that the doors could not come open during transit. Then they padded the sections (two pieces- top and bottom) of the cabinet and fastened each to the inside of their covered truck so that neither piece could tip over or scoot. Of course, our huge breakfront china cabinet arrived in mint condition. Not a scratch or ding (and, believe me, I looked). Typically, after hiring any type of service, I am left feeling dissatisfied or am contemplating the negative review I will have to write. However, in this case my husband and I were left in awe at how SMOOTHLY the whole situation went and I immediately texted friends to recommend this company. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. Huge truck and 5 guys, they had my 2 bed/2 bath apartment loaded into that truck in less than 30 minutes. I think the drive to the new place was longer than the load time. Again, super quick unload and they were all so kind, and very careful with your items. 3 hour minimum so I ended up paying for longer than what they worked, but that is moving company standards, and I've done that with just about every move I've ever done.
