Very large selection of different cakes, cookies, and other desserts. We have only tried a few, but what we have had has been good, and it is nice to have the variety.
I enjoy the coffees there - my husband thinks they are good but overpriced.
Lunch menu items consist of various sandwiches, salads, quiche, etc. There is not a huge selection, but it seems enough for a quick lunch. There is nothing exceptional about them, but they are good. In the winter they generally do a nice soup of the day with a homemade bread.
Staff is generally friendly, and it is fun to sit and watch the baker preparing cakes.
The place is tiny and there is not a lot of seating. If you come when it isn't busy, it is a nice place to relax, have a piece of cake and coffee, do some writing, etc. Other times it is packed full of "yummy mummies", babies, little ones, strollers, etc. I don't mind this at all - it is just an observation, and something to be considered, especially if it's a rainy day.
My only complaint overall is that it is all quite pricey for what it is, and you can quickly spend more than intended. read more
