I seen Dr. Tiu for debilitating swelling and leg pain in my legs but specifically my right leg. The first visit I explained what I had been experiencing including the issue sending me to the ER because I have problems walking, standing, and sitting for more than 30mins. Every time I sit my feet turn blue and my toes go numb. Initially he has stated he didn't know what was wrong with my legs but because I had pulses in my feet that meant it's not a circulation issue to him and said to have my primary refer me to ortho. I told him it takes so long to get into a specialist and I didn't feel I was getting proper care. He than agreed to order an ultrasound of my veins in the legs. Which the report came back stating I do infact have blood flow issue in the back of both knees. I had my follow up appointment with Tiu and once again he initially told me he doesn't know what's wrong with my legs but that its not a circulation issue and that it's not a big deal. I reminded him that this condition is literally affecting my daily life and quality of life as well as causing me extreme pain. He said to buy compression stocking from amazon. I informed him I had shown my cardiologist who also does vascular care the report and my cardiologist had some concern due to my heart issue. Dr. Tiu said to have him treat me. He has a concerning careless attitude towards patients and I do not feel properly evaluated by him. I will not be returning as a patient.

So of course on a Friday evening I had a major attack. I called their office after hours and left a message. I prayed I would make it to the hospital as it was in San Diego, an hour drive. Within about 15 minutes Dr. Burgess called back as he was on call that weekend. He assured me that the hospital knew that I was on my way and that he would take care of everything. He even engaged Dr Schultzel that evening. Dr Burgess performed my surgery and did a fantastic job. He calmed my nerves before surgery with confidence and useful information on what to expect afterward. I recently had shoulder surgery and was concerned about the after surgery gas pain so many people talk about in the shoulder area. He reassured me that he tried to remove as much as he can during surgery. I had zero pain from the gas. It is NOT possible to find a better surgeon. Dr. Burgess is hands down, the best. Also he is humble and not arrogant like so many other surgeons can be. Thank you Dr Burgess for your care.

Honestly, the hardest part of recovery was reminding myself that I had just had surgery because I felt so good afterward, I had to consciously slow myself down and take it easy. That alone speaks volumes about Dr. Park's skill and technique. I am now two weeks post-op and I am beyond happy with my results. My breasts look almost better than what I started with. Even with the steri-strips still on, my incision is clearly healing beautifully. I've had no swelling, no bruising, and my recovery has been incredibly smooth. Dr. Park is truly gifted, and I felt confident and well cared for every step of the way. If you're considering explant surgery and want a surgeon who prioritizes precision, comfort, and outstanding results, I highly recommend Dr. Gregory Park.

We arrived 15 minutes before our appointment and none of the pre-work was done between the primary doctor and this place. You would think follow up and planning would be a common business practice. Nope. Luckily we had back up paperwork. The floors are filthy and hair and stains are all over them. They may not have been cleaned for ages. We fill out paperwork and wait far past our scheduled appointment time. Once we are finally called in (30 minutes after our scheduled appointment), we are brought to the dirty holding cell where a nurse asks,"do you know why you're here?" No. We only (a) had been through the battery of other doctors and tests to get this appointment scheduled as a next step, (b) filled out the numerous forms outlining why we are here and health history, and (c) handed your office clerk the paperwork outlining tests and the reason for the appointment. Asking again as "protocol" is fucktardery. When questioned, the nurse then was bitchy. The doctor came into the filthy holding cell an hour after the scheduled appointment time. Our time is clearly less valuable than his. Why make an appointment if you have zero plans on keeping it? His first question was, "do you know why you're here?" No doctor we don't. Hopefully you can help shed some light on this mystery for us. He explained the issues to us but had a creepy manor about him and when we said we have a second opinion scheduled he seemed to get defensive. At the end he simply walked out, no goodbye no let us know if we can help, nothing. We will be seeking medical care elsewhere. Ignorance, disrespect, rudeness, lack of cleanliness , and ineptitude have no place in our medical care.
