Dee and Mee Hobbies has it all! Planes, trains, trucks, and so much more! We go there for all of our Traxxas Slash parts and upgrades. These guys know there stuff, from remotes, to engines, to systems, and upgrades they've done their homework and are ready to help you. The only downfall is that you might find it tough to connect with these guys and get your your point across on different problems your trying to address on your RC. Just went there pick up a few things and was waiting to check out took forever finally the only guy up there was very rude didn't say anything to us when we came in and didn't even acknowledge our presence not even a I'll be with u in a minute sorry for the wait or nothing then he said get over here then very rude in front of other customers I tell you customer service sucks when they should do anything and everything after what has gone on in this world especially when they want you to buy local but with customer service like that that willl change my mind quick so sorry for the owner that had someone like that read more

Terrible. They leave out customers products, don't put signs on them so that customers don't touch them, they don't greet customers even when there is no one else in the store, workers are not friendly, and they have less of a product selection than Best Buy. Their prices are also much higher for products than other stores in the area. I would not recommend them at all. read more

Last week we tried to return an item (they said would work, which didn't) from Dee & Mee Hobbies in Topeka. Full disclosure- it was after 30 days because we do not live or work in Topeka. We also didn't have the receipt- but it still had the Dee and Mee price tag on it. (we thought the experts knew what they were talking about.) The only time we opened the battery charger was to try it out with our battery. When we tried to either return the battery charger or figure out how to get it to work, it was the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. The owner raised his voice to the point he was yelling at us. He said they wouldn't return the item because it had been opened. (We understand the store has policies.) However, what we cannot fathom is the inappropriate and unprofessional manner in which the owner spoke to us. He loudly belittled us in front of other customers, to the point people were staring at us. In the era of online shopping, brick and mortar stores in particular small, locally owned stores need to be at the top of their game on customer service. Everyone has bad days, moments that aren't the best....yes, even owners of businesses. However, that doesn't justify his overwhelmingly inappropriate behavior. As a business owner, there is a level of professionalism that he did not have that day. We will never set foot in that store again. I strongly advise others to stay away. We have contacted the BBB. My wife and I went in there just looking. Asked about a simple "drone" to start with. We got just the right thing, it was on sale, and they took time to show us how it worked on a demo model. Even down to battery usage. Nothing fancy, and good for a beginner. She was playing around with it in the house that evening. read more
