I work for a third party company that works in conjunction with this travel agency and the rudeness from Terry was shocking. There was no need for her attitude with me when all I was trying to do was help her. She then hung up out of frustration and said she would find someone else to work with. Then she called back immediately and got another agent proceeding to tell them I was 'Useless'. Not a great attitude to have. Terry may appear super friendly and ever so nice to you customers but if you want to book with someone who is kind to the people that actually book the tours for you I would highly suggest going elsewhere. read more

first of all i want to say that i am not a big travel guy and i spent hours online trying to make my first international trip work.All i did was get frustrated. I went to a well known agency and gave them my general wishes and i never heard back, even after two phone calls. i asked around and folks told me to go see Terry at Dedham Travel, thank God. lol Terry asked me lots of questions and started the process while i drank my coffee. She is a true professional and at the same time caring for what i was trying to accomplish. Every suggestion Terry made always had options to fit my budget and time.I left her office feeling that all would be well, and it was. Within a day i had my flight and hotel confirmations. She also suggested an agency she has dealt with that picked me up at airport and dropped me at my hotel, OMG i am so happy with the service, but mostly after the flight and a walk in Heathrow that had to be a MILE to get to baggage claim, i was in no shape to navigate the tube to get to hotel. i will say that my flights on Virgin Atlantic were outstanding and that EVERYONE i met were truly helpful and pleasant. And the hotel she booked me into was exactly like she told me so there were no surprises. And the hotel Terry suggested had a complimentary English breakfast, great convenience and great cost savings. LONDON is EXPENSIVE. I would have never been able to make my vacation work on my own. Terry at Dedham Travel set up a quick trip to Paris for my wife and I. We were in Antwerp for a wedding and the Bride's parents showed us around Belgium for a week. We had some time after the wedding to ourselves. Terry set up a wonderful intinerary to Paris, including an upscale comfortable hotel, excursions to the Eiffel Tower, a cruise on the Seine and a guided tour of the city, hitting all the highlights. We were met at the train station by a driver who gave us a brief tour and brought us to our hotel. On our last day, a limo brought us to CDG. Terry seemingly set up all this effortlessly and we benefited from her knowledge and experience with a fun filled, happy experience in Paris with little forethought on our part. I believe that part of our trip was the smoothest travel I've ever had. No problems, no muss, no fuss. We'll be back at Dedham Travel again soon for another vacation. read more

Last summer my daughter decided a vacation cruise would be an ideal Christmas gift for my husband and me. I booked a last minute trip to Costa Rica and was a mess trying to figure out which hotel was the best choice, what excursions to do and don't even talk to me about booking flights. Dedham travel was like planning a trip with a super knowledgeable friend. Terry was able to recommend which hotels were the best value and was in a good location for the excursions i wanted to do. She helped me set up all the excursions so i wasn't overlapping activities. I'm really happy we were able to get everything done prior to my heading out, i felt so much better knowing everything was taken care of. The flights i had been seeing on those travel sites were terrible, at best. They offered layover ranging from 8 hours to a 24HOUR layover in Miami on the way home. They suggested several stops that just left me super frustrated. Terry found me flights that went at reasonable times and only minor layover which i needed to get through customs. I used Dedham Travel for my honeymoon and we had the best trip of our lives! We traveled to Costa Rica, where we stayed 4 nights in the rain forest and four nights on the Pacific Ocean. I initially had decided to use Dedham Travel because I didn't know how we were going to get from Liberia airport (Costa Rica) to the resort in the rain forest (which was over 3 hours away), then to the resort on the Pacific Ocean, and then back to the airport. I communicated with Denise, at Dedham Travel, who set up all of the transportation, rooms, and flights for me. I am so happy I decided to use a travel agent, instead of booking on my own because we had never been to Costa Rica before and I was also planning a wedding, so I appreciated that Denise was able to set this all of up for me in no time! I had initially mentioned a different resort than the one we ended up staying at on the Pacific Ocean because Denise suggested it. It was a beautiful place and I am thankful for her recommendation. Because she is a travel agent, so she has the experience and knowledge of the best places to go. I highly recommend Dedham Travel if you need assistance planning a trip or simply don't want to take the time to do it. The process was so easy and we are really excited for our next trip!
