Park Falls has a cute little downtown, of which Patchouli Garden is a part. They have a variety of items, so you could easily find a gift for someone here if you're not looking for yourself. They had some cute wind chimes and there was one I liked a lot, but I just moved and am not familiar enough with my new home to know where it could go. They had some plants and planters--I certainly don't need another planter but there was a hedgehog on that was too cute to leave on the shelf. They have some t-shirts, including some Park Falls souvenir ones. There were some baby items, jewelry, and what they're probably best known for--their bath bar. They had a nice large sink and a variety of oils, soaps, and so on for folks to smell and try. I didn't buy any bath stuff but I always appreciate when a store selling lotions and potions has a sink for you to rinse off. Service was friendly and not pushy. Parking is super easy; I'm not sure if there's ever a busy time in Park Falls, but there was street parking directly in front of the store and throughout the downtown.

Super convenient to get to right off of Hwy 13. to the east 2 - 3 blocks. I've even met the mayor of PF here! (what?!what?!) Yes. She's super cool to talk to!

My 95 year old mother always loved shopping at the Cranberry Gift Shop in Boulder Junction. After…read moresuffering with atrial fibrillation through July and August and having her heart shocked twice, she was finally feeling well enough to accompany us to the north woods of Wisconsin and once again visit the Cranberry Gift Shop. While she was shopping, her walker happened to knock over a metal bucket holding some silk flowers. Immediately, the sales clerk came running. She looked at my mother's walker and wanted her to tie up 2 of the cords on her walker to prevent further mishaps, which we did. She then proceeded to stand nearby to watch our every move throughout our stay. My mother then sat down on her walker so the woman wouldn't think she would cause any more problems or steal anything. Needless to say, my mother's first outing was devastating for her and made her want to go home. When she walked into the Moondeer and Friends Art Gallery nearby, the woman greeted her with a smile, welcomed her and asked if she could be of help in any way. It's amazing how a smile and caring about a customer can make you feel welcome and take that feeling of shame away! As a result of the clerk at the Cranberry Gift Shop, she and I will no longer be shopping there and advise any other handicapped person to do the same!!!

This little cozy shop 'up north' has a few things that Ocean Spray does not…read more It is all things cranberry; and then some. Picture this: you walk in. Wall to wall things, wood carvings, Tiffany lanterns with illustrations of the north and its creatures (especially loons), cards, candles, and books. Go further: you find a little nook with gourmet pastas, rice, veggie toss-ins, as well as cheese samplers that would make a true 'cheese head' happy. As you might also expect, there is an ample supply of real cranberry glass; the type my Mom and her Mom even collected. There are also some neat toys and "adoptables" for kids that are very sweet and certain to make them happy and occupied for hours. The salespeople are pleasant, and I especially liked not being grabbed the moment I walked in. There is so much to check out that they wisely stand by til you come forward. Prices (for some of the things are up there) but are mostly doable. My special pic was a one of a kind, miniature Tiffany style lamp (the glass done by a local artist). Very cool colors. Love it. One warning: expect to smell cranberries, see cranberries, and leave smelling like a cranberry after your visit.
