I ordered mulch on a Wednesday and was told it would guaranteed be delivered by Thursday. Not only did the mulch not arrive -- there was zero communication. No delivery. No phone call. No email. Nothing. I left multiple messages with their team and never received a single call back. When I finally got in touch, Diane could not have been more unhelpful or indifferent. Her complete lack of urgency or accountability was astounding, especially after they failed to deliver on what they promised. If you're considering using Northstar, I'd strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Their customer service is a joke, and their lack of follow-through shows how little they care once they've got your money.

I came here a couple years ago and dropped a few bills on plants to landscape my parents place. I had a plan made up by a master garderner and no idea what I was doing. The staff was super helpful, pretty much held my hand and helped me select what I needed. If they didn't have the specific plant they were able to suggest a suitable substitute. And it all turned out great, everything for the most part has survived and thrived. With the exception of one plant, but that was mostly because of poor placement planning on the master gardener's part. Oh and I bought two burning bushes which have done quite well, I was a little disappointed that they didn't burst into flames and give me any messages from God, but I guess I'm not Moses so that was an unrealistic expectation.
