There are so many details that she took care of for our wedding and reception, and the events would not have gone as smoothly had she not been there. Most importantly, she delivered on everything she said she was going to do. Let me repeat that...she did EVERYTHING she said she was going to do. I cannot emphasize enough how important that is for a successful event, not to mention that it really reduced our stress level the week of the event! We met with Sobi prior to the event date to go over everything that would need to be done during the events, and she was informative about what to consider and worked with us to figure out how to make everything run on time and the way we wanted. She was very sweet and easy to work with, not to mention organized and listened to what we wanted. She made sure to ask questions so she could understand the type of wedding/reception we wanted (and not necessarily what would be 'easiest' for her to handle). She also made sure she got all the information she would need for that day (including setup diagrams, vendor contact info, schedules, etc). She even followed up with any questions she had after reviewing everything we had given her. She confirmed all of our vendors for the day, and took care coordinating all of the details (and believe me, there were many of those) and setup of the venues. She also made sure we kept to our timeline during the reception, which was amazing (and awesome) considering we had about 185 people at the event to handle. During the event, Sobi was calm and very organized. Some of our guests even commented that she was very sweet and was doing a great job handling everything. Sobi was invaluable to us with all the logistics she took care of...and she was the biggest reason we were able to relax on our wedding day! She handled everything that day and we didn't have to worry about ANYTHING! We highly recommend Sobi for any event coordination!

He was a no show for my rehearsal breakfast gave a lame excuse that he had an event the night before and overslept. The decor that I had a contract for and paid for NEVER SHOWED UP. My decor was the exact opposite of what I asked for and even included things I absolutely DID NOT WANT. He showed up to my venue late with a team of people that were probably friends or family members who absolutely knew nothing about weddings. He was supposed to be my planner but I only seen him a total of 3 times my entire wedding! The flowers in my bouquet were dead and absolutely dreadful it definitely WAS NOT a Bride's bouquet. If the flowers weren't dead it would have been acceptable for a bridesmaid but definitely not a Bride. The bouquet was so bad he refunded me $100 which was an insult! I can't redo my pictures nor was I in the position to go buy a new one so I had to deal with it. Oh did I mention he was one bouquet short? Yeah! We had to take one apart and make 2 out of it so that all my bridesmaids would have a bouquet to walk down the isle with. The list of things that went wrong with Daryl as my planner could go on on but the bottom line is Daryl is a nice guy but does not fulfill his contact obligations. If you want things done right for your special day I'd highly recommend another planner.

My wedding was in April and thanks to Darryl, it was an affair to remember, the best day of our…read morelife (thus far). I found Darryl on craiglist and trust me, I was super worry at first because of the price he gave me ( 1/4 of what other places ask me for a full package) , it's almost too good to be true until I work with him. He's very professional and patience. Always listen to what we want and try his best to meet our (sometimes ridiculous) requests. He's always there when we need and eases my worry ( brides freak out all the time). He will go and search with you for whatever you want until you're satisfied. He works with other venues carefully to make sure everything we want will be there. We enjoyed our day to the fullest because of Darryl and his team. We don't have to worry a thing. He arrange one of his assistants with the girls just to help us dress, get little things that we need so we don't have to run around like maniacs. Our guest was pleased because everything was on time and smooth. My friend envy me just because I looked so happy, not like other bride, tired and worry; of course, I have the best team to help me out. The best advice I can give to any bride-to-be out there is that: Get a wedding planer. Especially, Darryl Wilson.
