Following them on instagram to our 1st consult with Sean McAleer we were sure we picked the right company. Sean and his team recently completed building our deck. Their truck says "Deck envy" and that is exactly what they caused with my neighbors and others who have seen our deck. There really is no comparison with what they build and decks built by other companies. I highly recommend that anyone interested in building a high-quality deck hire a firm that focuses on building decks, such as Deck Remodelers. The company's differences from other builders starts from the beginning with Sean spending as much time as needed to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Even when we changed things up a bit, he was extremely accommodating and quick with responses to our questions. He approaches deck building in a process that maximizes both function and aesthetics. His builders are carpenters rather than traditional deck builders, which means that the quality of the work is impeccable down to the small minutia. We noticed that one area of the deck had some small defects and his team was immediately out to completely fix the area so that the entire deck perfect. His team is highly efficient and very pleasant to work with. They were very professional throughout the entire process. I am writing a letter of recommendation for Deck Remodelers of Sparta, NJ. We had our entire deck replaced and remodeled during August and September of 2015. The entire project was a huge success. From the very first meeting with Sean, my questions were all answered and he an exceptional communicator throughout the project, advising when to call the town for permits, surveys, etc. The quality of the materials used and workmanship are unbelievable. From the Brazilian tiger wood in the ceiling to the magnificent stone accent work, my deck is a work of art, which I am sure has greatly appreciated the value of my home. All the workers and office staff performed in an excellent manner; with the utmost professional courtesy and politeness. All timelines were met in a prompt fashion. We had necessary meetings or conversations to discuss progress and possible changes. The most important thing to me was the fact that all the people involved worked so well together i.e. architect, designers, contractors including the roofers, electricians, masons and railing companies. The lead carpenter, James was especially easy to work with. The clean-up was done every day and if needed work was even done on the weekends. I have recommended Deck Remodelers to all my friends who might need some work and look forward to memorable time with my family and friends on our new covered deck. Most people are so pleased when the project is finished. I actually miss seeing James and his crew with their happy personalities and eagerness to work.
