We looked at a number of contractors to replace our old Trex deck and build a new one. Based upon referrals, reviews, and the fact that they are listed as a 'Trex Pro Platinum builder' with 5 stars on the Trex home website, we chose Deck Express and the entire experience was a pleasure. Craftsmanship and service were stellar. Diogo was clear and transparent in all communication from the initial contact through the end of the job, no surprises. He was also accommodating on a couple of last-minute requests we made of him. The crew was professional, efficient, respectful, and on time each day. The team worked non stop, cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, and completed the deck within a week as promised. I recently had my deck "re-surfaced" by Deck Express. This is where you replace more or less the floor and railings, and keep the original foundation/posts. The original floor and railings were wood, and I had them replaced with Trex. Deck Express was very professional. After calling them and leaving a message, I received a call back the same day and scheduled an appointment to have them take a look my deck. The owner came by and he was well-prepared. Had a full kit of samples and a picture book to walk us through our options. Their quote was very competitive against 2 other companies. The owner's professionalism won us over. As our deck was considered small (30'x20'), it was a 1.5 day job that he squeezed in between 2 big jobs. His crew were also professional. Didn't make or leave a mess. They have a trailer dump to put all the waste into. Demolition took an hour and they had the floor done in 2-3 hours. The railings took a full day. Very happy with the deck.
