1)Service required: needed AC clean ended up not cleaned. Got duct work not needed…read more 2) Quality: AC is not balanced now. Front of house stays about 2-3 degrees warmer than the back. 3) Value: For a 1150 sq. ft house $8250 for duct work seems way to much. I needed my AC cleaned. I had come down with a respiratory infection. I looked inside my AC unit and could see black mold of some kind. I asked a Facebook group for a recommendation for cleaning my indoor unit.. Got a PM from a Jordan from "don't sweat it". He came and said my unit needed cleaning and the duct work needed to be replaced. At the time made sense. Mold would be in both. He quoted price of $8250. He told me while his crew was installing the duct work he would come and clean the AC unit. They came (about an hour late) ripped out old duct, ( every vent had junk fall out of it all over every thing) replaced the duct at ($2000 pr hour?) packed up and started to leave. I told them Jordan said he was going to clean the inside unit while they installed the duct work. They called him, then said he told them to wipe down the unit? ( they said to clean the unit it would take 3 hour and cost several hundred dollars more) One of them did that while the other one took a push broom and swept the the floors of the rooms but, didn't cleanup the stuff off the the furniture or counters. What they did sweep up they just dumped it in my yard, not 10 feet from my trash can. When they turned the AC on in my house it filled with a chemical stink that they said was from the mastic they used so, I should run my AC with all my doors and window open for a while. ( It took more like a week to get the smell out). Then to top it off they left me the permit for me to call in for the inspection. So, looking for someone to clean my AC unit and got the old bait and switch for an $8250 duct instead and no AC clean.

I called Dont Sweat it and Dan came out. Looked at my system and told me, what was happening and that I would need to think full replacement soon. Today, I can get you up and running and I think, you should be good but you know. Something could fail. But if I get you running, hopefully until winter when things are slower and parts are easier to get. I'll call you back. Dan was honest and nice about it. Unlike some other guys who said, It's Blow UP, no fixing, gimmie loads of money! Price-wise, the value isn't more expensive than the competition. Some of the bigger companies will be charging you for all that radio advertising. The first time I called, they showed up the same day. They are a small local company, supporting local is supporting families and these guys are family-owned. Owner-operated with a hands-on approach, options given, and honest answers to your questions. I will no longer call any other HVAC company or person. At this point, he has helped many of my family and friends.

They installed a brand new air conditioning system back in June and it has been leaking and…read moredripping water ever since and 2 months later they came out for the fifth attempt to repair it and 9 hours later the caulk is liquid as water and there is active water sitting on the system AGAIN and worse than ever before. When I reached out to their customer service, I was told that despite the fact that they offer a one-year warranty to remove the system they would send me a quote for a cost to remove it. Each time they come out they find new issues with the previous repair job but ultimately blame it on the heat. Their poor system has caused water damage in my garage and in the vent nearest the handler and it's been ignored the last two attempts to repair the system. At this point I am not interested in a sixth time at my home. To add insult to injury, the last time they showed up they drove across my lawn leaving about a 10-ft rut in brand new sod and said nothing to me about it. The last photos are 24 hrs after their FIFTH time at my home. The silver tape is covered in condensation and there is active standing water on the horizontal portion of the handler stand, AGAIN. The caulk about 9 hours after installation was wet to the touch like pen ink. That was the same issue with the mastic 3 in 4 days after it was installed and the owner blamed it on the brand of mastic they were using yet they came out with a second type of brand and 3 days later it was also dripping. To add insult to injury last night I requested a date for them to come and remove the system. Their contract specifically states that they will remove and refund 100% if the customer is not happy with the system within a year. It is written in plain English. Today the owner responds back with the availability to have the system removed and tells me that oh by the way, they're only going to refund me 90% because of a finance fee between him and the finance company he contracts. So he expects me to take a $1,100 loss for a system that's been causing damage to my home for 3 months and I've wasted probably about 25 hours of paid time off to have to come home and wait on his technicians to attempt to repair it once again. The owner has never acknowledged any responsibility to the issues and continually blamed it on "me not happy with the systems performance" yet his agent when I have sent texts with photos of the issues has acknowledged on several occasions that there are issues with the system or install.

I appreciated that they weren't trying to sell me services I didn't need. They simply said they'd check in next year for my annual maintenance unless I needed them sooner. I highly recommend Thoroughbred Heating & Air.

Very disappointed with our experience with Brevard Cooling & Heating. They had serviced and…read moreinspected our HVAC system approximately a month earlier, and we were told everything was fine and there were no issues. No mold or growth was mentioned to us at that time. When the system later stopped working, we opened the unit ourselves and discovered significant growth inside. We then scheduled another appointment specifically to get a quote for complete HVAC replacement. We were never told in advance that there would be an $85 service-call fee. The system was not turned on or serviced during that replacement-quote visit, which even their own invoice states, and the $85 charge was only disclosed after the visit was over. We formally disputed the charge, called the company multiple times, and never received a return call. After we disputed the charge with our credit-card company, we were told the $85 balance would be sent to collections. They have still not communicated with us despite our repeated calls and messages. We have filed complaints with the appropriate agencies. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend getting all fees and the purpose of any appointment confirmed in writing before scheduling with this company.

While the work itself was acceptable, the behavior of one of the young men on the job site was absolutely unacceptable. I believe his name was Michael (no one properly introduced themselves, which already felt unprofessional). At one point, I personally observed him vaping on the job site. I did not feel comfortable confronting him directly, as I was alone in my home, but I was extremely disturbed. This is a workplace -- not a lounge. Additionally, the language used by him and one of the other boys was completely inappropriate. There was frequent cursing and slang that I would not expect from professionals representing a company inside a client's home. It made the entire environment feel uncomfortable and frankly disrespectful. When you hire a company, you expect a certain level of professionalism and decorum. Unfortunately, that standard was not met. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue because clients should not have to feel uneasy in their own homes. Very disappointed.

I called Climate Experts to fix a cracked PVC pipe on the outlet side of my water softener filter…read more The repair involved exposing and replacing a roughly 2-foot section of pipe (3/4" to 2"), and it completely resolved the issue with my water softener system. The technician was friendly and knew what he was doing; he worked efficiently and had it sorted without any hassle. I am writing to formally address a dispute regarding the water heater installation services…read moreprovided by Climate Experts. Below is a detailed account of the situation, including the timeline, agreements, and subsequent issues: Timeline and Agreements Initial Quote and Agreement: On 5 February 2025, Climate Experts provided a quote for installing a customer-supplied water heater. The quote explicitly stated: "The replacement water heater can be installed either in the attic space where the existing one currently is (provided it fits in the attic access), or it can be installed in the garage. Either location, pricing valid for either.", "*Installation includes all required wiring & water lines." Pictures and requested information were provided by my realtor to assist in preparing the quote. Additional detailed pictures of the house layout were available online via the property listing. I signed the quote on 7 February 2025 and paid $2,150 on 9 February 2025. Tech Visit and Refusal to Install: The technician arrived at the property and stated that the supplied water heater could not be installed in the attic due to its hybrid nature, weight concerns, and potential condensation issues. I requested that the water heater be installed in the garage, as explicitly stated in the signed quote. Climate Experts refused, claiming the situation was not as expected and that installation in the garage would cost more than the quoted and paid amount. Forced Purchase of Additional Water Heater: Due to time constraints related to the sale of the house, Climate Experts leveraged the urgency of the situation, leaving me with no choice but to purchase the recommended water heater for installation in the attic. The new water heater was installed with an invoice dated 17 February 2025 and signed 13 February 2025. Issues and Concerns Failure to Honor Signed Quote: The signed quote explicitly stated that the water heater could be installed in the garage. Climate Experts refused to honor this agreement, citing additional costs and unforeseen circumstances despite having sufficient information (pictures, listing details, etc.) to prepare the quote. Lack of Due Diligence: Climate Experts did not send a technician to inspect the property prior to providing the quote, despite my realtor offering flexibility to accommodate a visit. This oversight led to inaccurate assumptions and subsequent issues. Leverage of Time Constraints: Climate Experts leveraged the urgency of the situation, forcing me to purchase an additional water heater to meet the inspection requirements for selling the house. Financial Impact: I incurred additional costs due to Climate Experts' refusal to honor the original agreement and their lack of due diligence.
