First off, when I decided to have my 20+ year old refrigerator fixed, I wasn't sure with whom to…read morego with. I did call everyone in town and ask how much for an estimate. Everyone charges about the same amount to come out and tell you what is wrong with an appliance. Danny at AAA charges less. So, I decided to use him first and see what happened. Boy am I glad I did! He ran a little late that day. But he called and let me know that and asked if it was ok. That's a plus, it's respectful. When he got here he went right to work. I was able to ask him questions and he let me stand there and watch him work. He didn't mind at all. I really enjoyed being able to learn while he took apart my freezer. It turned out that my fridge's freezer's heater needed a part. So, he replaced it and got things running again, like new. While we were talking I learned that he continually takes classes to learn all the new appliance models that come on the market. So he's well versed in even the fridges with televisions and internet in them. I also learned what makes the newer appliances energy star and why sometimes that's not a good thing. You have a difference of currency and things can get easily overloaded and blown. I also had my suspicions about the new fridges confirmed. The fancier and more electronics they have on them, the more likely they will break down. Also, the french doors, especially where the ice has to move up, tend to have issues. I'd read that online in forums before, as well. It was a really educational experience all around. I paid less than 200 dollars for the part, repair, and the knowledge. His work is guaranteed for 30 days. So, when our fridge seemed to be having the same issue, I called him back and was pleasantly surprised to find that out. He came out the same day and it was the other part, that it could have been the first time around. So he went to the truck, got the part, and fixed it right then and there. No extra charge. What a life saver! Do you know how hard it is to store a family's food supply in two coolers! It sucks! So I am very thankful for his help and great work. I will forever use him, as long as Danny is in business. I will also keep my old fridge. It's bigger, over 25 cubic feet, then most fridges now. So why buy a new one when you can just get it fixed? You'll have to fix the new fangled one in a matter of months anyhow. And when you do, go to Danny at AAA Appliance Repair. Don't go to Sears, or any other company. They won't do you as right as he will, I promise! He is available in Moulton and Decatur. He may do other areas, just ask! His Decatur number is (256)353-5028. His emergency repair number is (256)767-5088.

That was the response I got from at least 4 other services before making my way down the list to Weaver's Appliance Repair. I was not put on hold, I was not referred to a voice menu (like SO many others), and my call was not sent to an answering service. I got a live person who listened to the symptoms of my refrigerator and told that someone would be by to see about it the next day! I was also given a window of 12:00 to 4:00 that afternoon which exceeded my expectations. Mr. Weaver went right to work and told me that I would need a new refrigerator. He also told me that he could fix it but it would be more expensive than buying a new one. He was honest, forthright, and had integrity. He looks young but is very experienced and I would not hesitate to call him again for ANY appliance repair needs that I need. You can't go wrong!!
