BUYER BEWARE Bought top end Samsung TV from EE Decatur, AL some 4 months ago. loss of picture, pixilation, unwanted or un-commanded channel changes, or all of the above occur repeatedly while trying to watch a movie. Electronic Express does nothing. Samsung pretends to send repair techs, whom also do nothing. We have engaged electricians, IT pros and had an entire change out of all cable equipment at their techs behest. All issues point back the the tv istself and the business that sold it. 4 months in, a top end tv is unreliable, and frustrating. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS OR SAMSUNG OLED TVs. Yelp won't let me update my other review so here's another... Updating to add what's happened since initially posting this. It hasn't improved... April 7th - they didn't show up. Shocker. I posted reviews on Google, Facebook, and Yelp. Received a comment on Facebook that they were concerned and passed our info onto corporate. April 8th - Received a call from the manager of the local store saying they had no clue what was going on or why things had gone so wrong. That they had been talking to corporate and were going to do the delivery themselves but it would be on Tuesday (12th). Uhhh okay that sucks but let's see what happens. April 12th - they call and schedule delivery for 2-5 pm on Wednesday the 13th. What in the...?!? April 13th - half an hour before the beginning of the delivery window my husband receives a text that the delivery would be in 30 minutes. THEN he receives a call saying tomorrow (14th)! We determined to call them back and tell them to just pick up the washer and dryer and give us our money back. Ironically they don't know when they can pick it up. We've previously been told that any refunds had to be mailed to us by check but now they're saying it will be returned to our card that we paid with. We shall see - we're leery to believe anything at this point. April 14th - my husband receives a text that Electronics Express is on their way. What in the absolute heck?!? Sooo they show up. They actually show up. To pick up the washer and dryer. Amazing how quick they picked them up versus fixing them. Adding salt to the injury... we have to go to the store to get our money back. Last place I want to step foot in. You can't tell me in this world of technology that an electronics store can't put that money back on a card. Oh and they took part of the electric cord we had to buy just to get the dryer to work. I didn't realize, I thought it was all there, but found out otherwise when my husband came home. read more

Last weekend the store manager in Decatur, AL lied about having a television in stock and promised immediate delivery when in fact the television had to be delivered from Nashville, TN. Obviously the delivery didn't happen that evening and the delivery was more than 2 hours late the following day before my parents canceled their purchase. The manager has refused to speak with my father and has not apologized for their inconvenience. Our family will never step foot in that business again! read more

I am a recent college graduate, and having just moved back to Decatur for a while, I decided that I wanted to renovate my family's home. I have a tiny bedroom, and had been looking into either a bunk bed or a loft bed to save space. I found one that I loved, and I climbed onto the ladder to check if the top bunk would be too small or too tall for me. I was immediately screamed at from across the store- this employee yelled "Get off. That is not a toy and you are certainly not a child." I certainly am not- I am a young adult that has been an Electronic Express customer for years. I have been back to this store three times in the past week because I have been strongly considering purchasing one of the nice Tempurpedic mattresses, pillows, and a bed, but now I will have to take my business elsewhere. read more

We ordered brand new appliances for our new home back in mid march, we had delivery delays and it took over a week past when we were told we would get the appliances to get our appliances. we had to go pick up our washer and dryer even though we paid for delivery because they would not deliver until the fridge and freezer was there also. we spend nearly 5000 in appliances. when they delivered the fridge the drivers did not install the handles we had to install everything on the fridge they literally dropped it off and left. but worst of all we had been without a fridge for nearly 10 days and when they dropped of the fridge it was damaged and the doors were scratched and dented. While the delivery driver was here i called the Decatur location and the manager told me they would order new doors. i waited a month and called and they said let me look into it and i will call you back a week passed same thing happened still looking into it i called cooperate office and i was told they needed to call the store and would call me back. nothing. i called again to cooperate last week and was given a email address and told someone would respond to me within 24 hours. It has been three months since we bought the fridge. I have had all kinds of promises. with nothing to show for it. we bought 4 major appliances for our new home from this location. i would have been back quite a bit because i want to replace the stove microwave and ovens for our new home, but due to the lack of customer service and total disregard for giving people damaged products for the price of new appliances. i am completely frustrated. do not make they same mistakes we did. find someone else to buy appliances through this company does not offer any support and is full of lies just to put you off. read more

I have made several purchases from Electronics Express over the past few years. I have had both good and bad experiences with them so this review is based off of my most recent purchase. Trevyn, in the computer/laptop department, helped me out so much with my decision on a new gaming PC. He was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to trust, which is rare when it comes to salesmen. I didn't deal with any other department while I was in there so I can't speak for the entire store, but I can say that I would recommend anyone that is looking to purchase a PC or laptop to try this store and speak with Trevyn! read more

I was here today with one of my friends today helping her pick out stuff for her room because she's remodeling it. She is very small so she wanted to see if these bunk beds were good to have in her house. Instead a very rude worker yelled at her to get of the ladder. She wasn't causing any trouble being loud or disrupting anything. We were looking forward to having a very good day but this young lady ruined it- thanks a lot. read more

Unprofessional delivery people, dishonest sales people, poor customer service from the store manager, Zion.

Me and my husband went in search for washer. We ask about if it tore up within 1st year how did warranty work. We bought the washer and bought the extended warranty. The purchase was in June. The guy who was our sales man along with a manger told us if we had a issue within the 1st year to contact them they would send someone out. I called when my washer started having issues and was told I needed to contact the manufacturer. She said if I send someone out they wouldn't do any thing except call manufacturer and go through trouble shooting ideas and I could do that. I can't remember our sales man but he was buying a Toyota Tundra shortly after our visit. Very disappointed that we were lied to. read more

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a retail store. What I needed was not in stock at the Decatur store but the sales manager checked with another store in Huntsville and reported back to me that they had my item in stock. I was told it would be available to me the following day. Needless to say, it was not available to me. No one called to give me a status on my order. I went to the store four times in one day and each time was given a different story. Finally I was told that the other store that supposedly had the item showed on their computer that they had one but they couldn't find it. Did anyone bother to share any of this with me? No. I doubt very strongly that I'll ever be back in there again. I highly doubt that they would let me in the front door anyway. It was not pretty. read more

Recently purchased a dyson multi floor canister vacuum at electronic express. Went in and everyone was so nice while we were looking at different things. We were approached by multiple sales associates. I purchased the vacuum and my husband got a 60' smart tv No problem.. Sales associate even help load purchases. Thats were customer service ends though... Once they make the sale you are no longer a priority. When i got home i discovered the main hose to the vacuum is missing...(useless without it). I called the sales associate that delt with us and he said he would talk to manager and call me back within the hour. Three hours later i phone the store and our guy had stepped out for a little while. Couple hours later he calls me back. What could he help me with?... Um vacuum hose? "Oh right i completely forgot my phone got stolen and i had to take care of that" He assured me he would go right then and speek to store manager and call me right back. Never did i hear from him again. I finally called dyson and after registering my new purchase they ordered me a replacement hose no questions asked. Thank you Dyson... Following day i called electronic express and spoke with store manager. Asked him if he was aware of the missing hose. No he was not. I told him sales associate was supposed to have gotten with him the day before twice and call me back. He then remembered yes ma'am... We were busy and dude got his phone stolen yada yada.... Im aware but no one ever called me back and i cannot use the vacuum WITHOUT the hose.His reply... Well ma'am you do realize you got a $600 Vacuum for a little over $100? Duh... Thats why i bought it..but its useless without the hose.. He then says i can order one on Amazon for about $30... WHAT ??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? UNBELIEVABLE. They finally offered me $25 off the vacuum for my inconvenients once i told them Dyson was taking care of the problem since they apparently couldn't. Never will i shop electronic express again.. I ordered a new computer. I was very happy with the price. The staff wasn't extremely knowledgeable. The computer wasn't in stock. After waiting a week and going back to pick up the computer I was told it hadn't arrived yet. After speaking with the manager I was told he didn't know when it would arrive. I asked what were my other computer options. I was told there were none and was given my money back. There were a lot of other unhappy people at the counter. I am sort of surprised they are still in business. I guess it doesn't matter to me I won't be back. Super pissed. I wouldn't have been quite as mad if I had not watched a computer very similar to the one I ordered being loaded into a car. As I arrived. Especially since I was told last week that there were no gaming computers in stock. My guess is one of two things either someone saw the computer in the back and didn't check if it was sold or they work on commission and sold it out from under me.
