We had to throw most of our items away. The only edible item was a chocolate cupcake. It was fresh and moist. I noticed the cupcakes are kept in an enclosed case and cake slices are boxed. The other treats and the quiche are not enclosed. They are beautifully displayed, however, I have wondered why they are not enclosed in a standard bakery case. My concerns (about the openness) are flies and other flying insects landing on the food, possible improper food temperature, and the commercial scents being absorbed into the open treats. For example, I have not purchased quiche because it is out in the open without any refrigeration. We visited in the afternoon and a sliced quiche was out for purchase. I hope my comments are taken into consideration. Meanwhile, I will pause my support.

For my daughter's birthday party, I ordered four dozen cookies from Suzanne, who was super patient…read moreand professional with me despite my indecisiveness throughout the ordering process. In the end, the cookie designs we got were a mix of baby sharks, my daughter's name, the number 2, and happy birthday cookies. The cookies came in all different colors but stayed within the baby shark theme and they turned out fantastic! I have to add - the baby shark cookies' design and detail looked much better than some of the cookies I found online. Again, Suzanne made the process stress-free and the cookies were ready to be picked up on time. I am looking forward to ordering more custom cookies from her and am happy to recommend her to our friends.

Thanks to Suzanne's careful packing, the cookies survived a 4 hour drive unscathed, and the bride-to-be I surprised with them (for her bachelorette) was over the moon! They are (almost! ) too pretty to eat -- but trust me, they taste as great as they look, too! Gorgeous cookies -- they photographed perfectly -- and Suzanne is genuinely one of the nicest, warmest people I've ever met who went above and beyond at every turn and did it all with such care. She has my business for all my future cookie needs! So thankful I found her page. She is a 20/10!! Thank you again, Suzanne! You are an amazing human.

Before our wedding, we were able to pick up one of Vy's tasting packs of cake, all of which were incredible tasting and helped us choose the flavours we would want for our final cake. Highly recommend picking up a tasting pack if you are able to! During the process, we met with Vy early on and discussed our choices of flavours, design, and Vy was able to send us a mock-up design that incorporated elements from the wedding dress which ended up being a great touch, and created a cake that was unique for just us. We have honestly never seen a cake fly off the table so quickly - to the point where we weren't even able to have one of the flavours on the wedding day as the guests ate it all so quickly! So many compliments have been given from friends and family about her cake. Overall, we highly recommend getting a cake from Syndesi for whatever event you may have coming up. The trip out there would definitely, definitely be worth it. We'll certainly be ordering more cakes from her for future celebrations!
