The best in the business and Central Florida. l've experienced over 15 personal trainers, and I can honestly say, WITHOUT a DOUBT Johnny Debut has been the only trainer to make me look at the bigger picture. I always wanted a quick fix and asked for what I got but long term results were not being met. Johnny Debut and Debut Industries has taught me that health and nutrition and my everyday tasks must all work in tandem. I've worked out with trainers here and there over the years. Most of them are focused on upselling you to more sessions. That means their goals don't align with yours. Johnny is different. He actually wants you to make progress. So nutrition/diet is a huge part of his program. He thinks and talks with you about your past way to work toward realistic goals. The workouts are fun, he's funny, he knows his stuff, he's encouraging but also pushes you to do your best! read more

Johnny literally changed and probably saved my life. I was depressed, over weight, horribly out of shape for about a five year span. I got really serious about not wanting to be miserable anymore, and sessions with Johnny were the first consistent thing I committed to on my path to getting better. He not only crafts challenging and effective work outs - AND is kind, compassionate, caring - but, also pushes you and supports you to constantly give it your all. I train with him multiple times a week, and it's one of the things I look forward to the most. I laugh, I sometimes cry, but always look forward to the time where I get to work on myself with the support of someone I truly love and trust. read more

I was new to personal training when I met Johnny and looking back, I couldn't be more grateful for the time I was a client aka Debutante of Debut Industries. Johnny is fully invested in YOU--he takes his role in helping you achieve your fitness goals very seriously. Johnny encourages you, constantly switches up workouts to make it fun and is so personable. He knows fitness is more than physical which is why he gives insight on nutrition and is there to listen if you're struggling through something emotionally. Honestly, I don't think I'll find another trainer like Johnny--he's an absolute gem. If you're on the fence about trying personal training, I would highly recommend Johnny. I'm so grateful for the time we had; and I'm so excited for the smashing success Debut Industries will be in its new home in Florida. read more

Debut Industries - My proudest accomplishment was learning how to lift--Johnny told me I could; I told him I couldn't; and well, I WAS WRONG! - Trainers Near Me - Apopka, Florida

I found myself gaining weight again and there went my low self esteem. Hence I started going to cycling classes and that's where I met Johnny. I went to one of his spin classes and I felt in love on how he made us push ourselves to reach that tough incline and pedal faster all the way to the finish line. I left that class feeling so good, mentally and physically! And that's when I decided to sign up for personal training with him. He personalized my own workout based on my strength which was very weak lol but after a couple of months my strength increased lil by lil and so did the weights lol. I was amazed of my progress I had accomplished and that made me be more consistent. Every training session, I was left pooped out but oh boy did I feel good the next day and more when my clothes began to fit again. We all need that push and for me it was Johnny! I will always be grateful to him for pushing me to go harder. Thank you Johnny! :) read more

I wasn't the type to workout ever, but Johnny changed that. He know how to push me to do things I never thought I could do! He kept every session fresh and gave me the flexibility/control at all times. Also it was just so fun and light, the time just flies by. He also checks in on your overall health and gives the healthy nudge you need. Also his spin classes are an experience - i never imagined I could do a 90 minute spin class at his level of intensity but again the time just flies by. Thank you Johnny Debut! read more

i've trained with johnny for over 5 years, both in his home gym and online. he is an excellent trainer and has helped me achieve my fitness goals! several years i ago i was looking for someone to hold me accountable to work out and to help get me toned. i'm so happy i found johnny! after my initial workout i walked around sore like i'd just been hit by a semi-truck for a couple days so yeah - i was definitely impressed! over the years johnny has been a dependable trainer but also a friend and occasional therapist. our weekly sessions have helped motivate me to eat right and do additional work-outs throughout the week. hiring a personal trainer felt like a luxury to me when i signed up initially but A. his prices are fair and B. investing in your health is worth every penny. i push myself more in his workouts than i ever do when working out at alone or in group fitness classes and for that i think this is definitely worth it. read more

I've been working out with Johnny for seven years, and he is hands down the best trainer I've ever worked with. I can count on Johnny to make every session action-packed, challenging, and full of fun and laughs. He has coached me through a hip injury/surgery, and always meets me at my ability level. I never thought I'd be in the best shape of my life in my 40's, and I have Johnny to thank for it! read more

LOVE Johnnys classes! I can't describe the feeling you get from doing a class with him. I started off thinking I couldn't do it then midway through the class you forget you're in class and get swept up with the music and his motivating words! Must try! read more

Johnny Debut is perhaps one of the most influential trainers I've come across in my fitness journey. Going from being a high level athlete to someone who just needs a great workout that fits in my work life, Johnny Debut was the perfect fit. The amount he cares about you is real. One of the best things he's ever said in a class i took with him was "you may think you're here for how you look but i promise you it's not. It's so much more than that" health is more than just physical and he takes the holistic approach to your fitness. Not to mention he's a hell of a lot of fun and you'll always walk away from your time with Johnny exhausted but rejuvenated! read more

Debut Industries has officially changed my life! I came to Johnny as a client almost 9 years ago and achieved my goal weight a little over three months! I started 180 and lost 20 pounds in his Program and with the extensive education I gained through Johnny I was able to loose another ten pounds on my own hitting my goal weight of 150. 4 years later and Johnny is still going strong...His personal training style is motivational, lifestyle friendly meaning he gets you outside and not just in gym lifting heavy weights. He adjusts for your fitness level and interests, and helps with flexibility and mobility. Johnny's teaching spinning at Equinox and other places so you can get your cardio on while training with him. In addition, he's that cool guy with a big heart you'd always want to hang and be friends with even which he's kicking your booty during a training session. If he has openings, book him. I can't say enough great things about Johnny. I've trained with him for over a year both in person and virtually and loved my results! I am a person who typically hates working out but he (mostly, ha) made it fun and I didn't dread them like I normally do! He's hilarious and kind and is extremely knowledgeable. He's great at keeping you motivated. read more

I'm not big on writing reviews, but if any one deserves one it's Johnny! He will not only change how you think about working out, but he will also change how you think about yourself! I trained with Johnny for just over a year and it was fun, therapeutic, and yielded great results. I am sad to have lost him to Florida.

I've been training with Johnny for almost six years now, and he really is the best!! He got me into the best shape of my life, while making the whole experience fun and exciting! After six years, I still don't think I've ever done the same exercise routine twice. Love you Johnny! read more

Johnny is the BEST. Six years ago I was totally stressed out by work and not taking care of myself when I began searching for a trainer. What I loved about Johnny from the beginning was that he not only cared about my physical wellness but also my emotional wellness too. He is a great listener and pushes you to reach your goals while being sensitive to meeting you right where you are. I cannot recommend him highly enough! As educator going through some of the toughest years during COVID, Johnny has kept me sane and healthy. read more

TL;DR version: If you're reading this review you found the right place. Get started with Johnny right now. You cannot lose. Longer version below. I decided to start working with Johnny because of all the positive Yelp reviews and now it is my turn to write my own. I want to go over three points: 1. Why work with a personal trainer. 2. Why work with Johnny Debut specifically. 3. My experience. 1. It takes a lot of time and energy to get and stay healthy. Most people only have a small window of time to focus on their health. Taking the time to research what you need to be doing to get healthy just makes that small window of time even smaller--and there's no chance that you are going to be able to learn everything that a certified trainer (like Johnny) knows. If you work with a trainer you get someone that knows what they are doing and what you need to be doing and you get to spend 100% of your time and energy on working out with full confidence that you are doing the right things. This may not be a universal truth for all personal trainers but it is definitely a fact for Johnny Debut. 2. All of the other reviews point out what a great person Johnny is. That is all true and it makes a big difference. Johnny is a great person BUT, Johnny also knows his sh*t! His experience and training gives him an edge over other trainers. He doesn't just regurgitate fad workouts or make all his clients do the same workouts. Every person gets a workout that is part of a larger plan that he has for you and your goals. That kind of long-term view and planning is so beneficial and it's crazy that we (Debutants) get that kind of attention. 3. My experience: I am 6'3" and I weighed 250 lbs when I started with Johnny. I was in a combined rut of pandemic weight-gain PLUS I am also recovering from a catastrophic motorcycle accident that has affected my hips and mobility AND I am an avid cyclist (I ride 4-6 days/week). I was still overweight and I knew I was shorting myself on exercise and not doing things that would make me feel better. I just didn't know what I needed to be doing. So, while I am not a typical case, look what kind of complicated mess I brought to Johnny to work with and he picked it up like it was nothing! I signed up for the ten session intro thinking "I'll figure out what to do and do it on my own." Hahaha! That was 18 months ago! From the VERY FIRST SESSION I felt great! Like, so good. Over this period of time I have lost weight for sure (about 40 lbs). But most importantly I have felt great the whole time. That's huge! That has been a tangible benefit since day one. There's no way I can replicate what Johnny does and for what he charges, there's no reason not to work with Johnny. I could go on for another 10 pages. There are so many nice things to say about Johnny and about my experience working with him that it's difficult to get all out. I hope that my brief review encourages you to just pick up the phone and start working with Johnny. You will not regret it. TL;DR, Johnny is the best. read more

Johnny has the BEST ENERGY! I have been to his group classes, spin class, and as a personal trainer. I hate working out and only show up because he makes it fun. I have been working out with him weekly for years and would have quit a long time ago if it were not for him. He is the 4th trainer I have tried and the best one I found. If you want to make a change in your health reach out to him today and see if he has any openings!! You won't regret it! read more

I went to Johnny when I was going through some big life changes. It was my first time working with a personal trainer and I didn't know what to expect. We worked together for three or four months and I learned more about my body, equipment, biology, and dedication than I had in my whole life. I used to think it was actually impossible for me to work out more than twice a week and now I work out every day and have the motivation and discipline to do it at home by myself. I learned so much and just wish Johnny would move back to Los Angeles. read more

My main focus in coming to Debut Industries was to improve my overall level of fitness and promote a healthier and more active lifestyle. I was concerned about aggravating my shoulder injury and needed someone who knows how to work through injuries and other challenges. Johnny is extremely knowledgable about physiology and how to modify exercises to protect, support and strengthen areas of injury. I am continually impressed with his ability to quickly modify any activity (often before I even realize it needs to be changed), and I appreciate his detailed descriptions of how and WHY to do exercises in a specific way. Johnny is also my accountability coach on everything from being active, eating better and maintaining a balance in my life to support my mental health. Johnny and Debut Industries have changed my life and I am so grateful for our time together every week. read more

What can I say about Johnny? If he can get this 44 year old body to move and work in ways I could only have dreamed about... he can work with anyone! I was embarrassingly unfit and overweight and he diligently worked with me until one push up became 5 push ups, I learnt what a burpee is and even mastered olympic squats. Johnny loves his job and loves his clients. It's apparent in the way he teaches and how encouraging he is in every way. He has a genuine interest in who you are as a person and wants you to succeed. Plus... he pushes you, he breaks down your perceived barriers within yourself. I'm now someone who enjoys working out!! read more

If you're looking for a personal trainer that's going to support, and motives you Johnny is the one. He is really great at what he does. If you're new to the workout scene , he will work with you . I took a spin class w Johnny while in town on vacation. I had never taken a spin class before in my life (I'm more into weight-lifting) but I really enjoyed it. I was pretty nervous beforehand because I had no idea what I was in for, but Johnny showed my fiance and I the way it worked and made us feel comfortable. He is a total natural as a spin instructor combining his knowledge of training with his talent for entertaining and inspiring people. I also had a chance to check out his studio gym and was very impressed. I wish we lived in LA so I could train w Johnny all the time. read more

Time flies when you're having fun and that's exactly what it has been with Johnny. It has been life changing. When I started training with Johnny, I was coming off a very dark period in my life that left me mentally and physically out of shape. Johnny tapped into my strengths and helped me pull out my motivation and desire to be the best me I could be. With his help I lost over 30 lbs and got into the best shape of my life. I also gained a tremendous amount of respect for myself - mind and body. I now crave working out and being healthy. I love being physically and mentally strange and all this was possible because of Johnny. His personality coupled with his vast amount of knowledge about health and fitness made all the difference. Johnny creates an environment where you know that your life and health are uniquely important and deserving. After training with Johnny for six months the positive effects in my strength and health are noteworthy. But more importantly, everything else I do in my life feels easier and more productive, because he has changed my entire relationship to health, exercise and lifestyle. Johnny has a wealth of knowledge about fitness and nutrition. He teaches from his heart and you can tell that he is sincerely invested in your success. He makes it fun and he always makes me laugh, but don't be mistaken...he also is extremely careful and precise. Johnny is always "in the moment" and that allows and encourages you to be there as well. He individualizes the workouts in a fluid manner to push you to your most productive level. His workouts are full of surprises and challenges and I never get bored. I was someone who used to dread workouts; now my week feels incomplete without my training sessions. read more

I've been going to Johnny since 2014 when my sister was getting married and I was maid of honor and needed to look amazing! Not only did he manage to do that with my body but until now everyone talks about how fit I was at that wedding. I've been going to him ever since not because he delivers results (which is super important) but also that he is good energy and can in a matter of seconds flip your mood from sad and depressed to happy and dancing! So I call him my therapist as well. And I'm not the only one, others I've referred to him feel the same and thank me for referring. So what I'm trying to say is that if you want to change your life for the better, call Johnny and get a 12 session package... your body will thank you, your health will thank you, your mental health will thank you and people around you will thank you! read more

I have had countless trainers in my time and hands down Johnny is the absolute best. He's incredibly motivating, endearingly inspiring and super knowledgeable when it comes to how our bodies work. He knows when to push you and when to pull you up when you're down. I began going to him after my divorce. My first several sessions I cried because it was such a release to feel like someone actually cared about my well being and for three years after that first day, Johnny never stopped believing in me. He taught me so much about exercise and nutrition, but most of all he taught me how to believe in myself. And yes I lost 20 pounds while going to him, but the self confidence, self motivation and self care he taught me was his greatest gift to me, and in my opinion it's the reason why he stands out from the rest. I moved across town and he was the only thing from my past life that I truly miss. In fact, I don't think I'll ever stop trying to find a way back to Johnny. He's the absolute best in the business and I promise that you won't regret your decision to become a debutant. read more

He knows that the study of health and fitness is forever growing, therefore he continuosly educates himself and stays up to date with the latest research. JOHNNY IS THE BEST!!! I was so nervous to see a personal trainer as I A. hate working out, and B. have a really bad neck injury. I chose Johnny because his fee is WAY cheaper than other personal trainers, and I knew it wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg to see him twice a week. Johnny made me feel comfortable immediately, and really listened to what my goals were. He altered workouts for my neck injury, gave me a basic nutritional food plan, and kicked my ass in the best way. He will push you in a loving a way, and will keep you inspired and motivated. I live up a steep hill in Silver Lake, and I will never forget the day I walked up it and had no problems (usually I would huff and puff up the hill, take a break, and feel like dying). This was only weeks after starting with Johnny. It is an incredible feeling to feel your body change and realize your personal strength. I started seeing Johnny a few months before my wedding. By altering my diet in a healthy way, and seeing Johnny twice a week, I lost 15 pounds. I also gained muscle and felt amazing on my wedding day. My dress had a low back and my many people commented on my back definition. I didn't even know what back definition was! haha. ANYWAY, long story short....if you live in the LA area, just go to Johnny!!!! He is worth way more than a gym or anything else you could possibly do to try and change your body. read more
