Jenn and her team do an amazing job of creating balanced, challenging, and effective workouts to accommodate all skill levels. They give you the proper instruction during the workout and the guidance you need to stay on track with your goals outside of the gym. I'm a regular member of the boot camp classes and signed up for one of the 6-week weight loss challenges, which included personalized meal planning, an app for accountability and extra activities in addition to the boot camp classes three days a week. In just 42 days, I lost 20 pounds. I could have just left that last sentence as my review, but this team is worth reassuring someone who's curious about getting started that you're going to be given everything you need to succeed. read more

I have only done the boot camp classes two times and already I am in LOVE! Alicia is a wonderful motivator. Shes is excited and smiling all the time, and she is extremely encouraging of even the smallest victories (like not hitting myself in the face when I try to jump rope.) :) If you come to the class with a positive attitude and a dedication to work hard, you're guaranteed to see (and feel) results, fast. read more

I've been attending Forte Fitness Boot Camp for the past year and it has been one of the best years of my life for Fitness! It's 10x better than going to the gym and trying to figure out what to do, it's 10x better than getting a personal trainer and paying per session, it's 10x better to have such a great group of people that are all there for the same goal and to motivate you! You not only do weight training, but tons of Cardio to burn fat!! It's great! I go almost 5 days a week and love going everyday!! Alicia is AWESOME and is so PERSONAL with you! She pushes you, she has great work outs and if you want to be competitive, then you can be!! It's worth it and you feel great after you finish the hour session!! I highly recommend Alicia's Forte Fitness Boot Camp!! Hope to see you there :) read more

I joined Boot Camp offered by Alicia of Forte Fitness this month. HOLY AB BURN! A friend encouraged me to check this out, because first off, this isn't a boot camp where the trainers yell at you and suddenly you're in a scene from Full Metal Jacket. This is a boot camp with real people (read: all shapes, sizes and ages) and the leaders encourage you to do as much as you can, as best you can. Yeah, sure. You could do this yourself. But, would you really challenge yourself to do 30 full sit-ups followed by 20 lunges and 60 seconds of jump rope followed by a quarter mile run? Most likely, no. The encouragement comes by way of positive reinforcement and the general expectation of 'Yes, you can do this'. It's really pretty awesome. If you have injuries and can't do certain exercises, she'll give you alternatives and work with you. Kettle ball classes are also offered during the week, and sometimes used during boot camp. Just show up with a really thick workout mat, a towel, some water and as much energy you can muster. It will be hard work, but the results are worth it! read more

Alicia is awesome - very motivating and engaging. I tried the kettleball camp first. It lasted about six weeks and focused on training with a kettleball. Interesting, but not really for me - you get calluses on your hands. So, I switched to boot camp for a few months. Classes are great- they're held in Blue Jacket Park and offered on select days at 6am or 6pm. Each class has something different, which keeps it challenging. My only issue is this program requires a lot of commitment. As an admitted commitmentphobe, I like more flexible plans. I wish a monthly membership was not required. If there was an option to buy a number of classes, I'd be more inclined to sign up again. read more

I've been going to Forte Fitness boot camp for a little over a year. Before joining Forte I had bounced from gym to gym... never really figuring out how the equipment worked, getting bored on the treadmill, and too uncoordinated for aerobics classes. I originally started with a Groupon, and I still remember my first class. It was the hardest thing ever. I thought I would die. But I was so proud of myself for finishing. I felt great! And I still get that same feeling of accomplishment every time I finish a class. The classes enable you to push yourself, so it stays challenging, you won't hit a workout plateau here. All of the instructors are awesome. I attend classes at the "Waterford" location (actually 417 and Curry Ford). There are also classes in Baldwin Park and Winter Park, but those are outside... Waterford meets in a gym, so we have some AC and a roof over our heads. =) There is great support with this program. There is a facebook group where everyone can post questions or funny workout memes. Periodically they run special programs like the "Little Black Dress" that combine a diet plan with the workouts. I've done these and they are a great incentive. read more

I decided to join the boot camp at Forte Fitness to kick start an exercise routine and a healthier way of eating. Because of all my medical issue I was afraid that I wasn't going to be able to keep the pace of the class...I was in shock how I was able to keep up with the group because of all the encouragement that this boot camp give you. As I join this amazing challenge I found myself looking forward to my boot camp days every week! The coaches are so organized, professionals, and they encourage me to do my best. No matter my fitness level, they help me with the exercises to meet my goals. They make it so convenient with difference workout times in the day and different places to workout. The training is for real! I'm not going to lie, the workouts are intense BUT if you are a beginner they will work with you until you reach your highest potential. I never thought I can do burpees, push-ups and lots of combo cardio in an hour because of my medical issue; but I DID! My trainers are absolutely amazing. Jennifer has been a God send and a blessing to my life. She is awesome... Jennifer is amazing She will sends emails with recipes, tips and encouragement videos or phrases that help you stay strong on track of your goal. I was in need of a healthy change when I found Forte Fitness early this year. At first I was hesitant to join and was afraid of loosing motivation and not being able to complete the whole 6-week challenge. I know it sounds crazy but joining Forte Fitness changed the way I view the word "Healthy". They make it so convenient with difference workout times in the day and different places to workout. In my case I go to Blue Jacket Park at 6 PM. The trainer is for real! I'm not going to lie, the workouts are intense BUT if you are a beginner they will work with you until you reach your highest potential. I never thought I can do burpees, push-ups and lots of combo cardio in an hour but I DID! My trainers are absolutely amazing. They will work with you and motivate to reach your goal. They were the voices in my ears specially when I need them which is what I really need to each my goal. Let's not forget about The Meal Plan. Wow, so when I said they change how I view the word "Healthy". The meals are amazingly good! I discovered food that I never knew it excited and I am in love with them all! I can't say enough how much I love Forte Fitness. I brag about them to my friends and family all the time. I look forward to future workouts and challenges. read more

I did not think showing up at a park at 5:45am to work out would be a fun thing, but it turned out to be that way. I had the pleasure of completing a boot camp session at Blue Jacket park, and it was fun! I ran, jumped rope, did some push ups (sort of), lifted some kettle balls, and did some sit ups. . .and watched the sun rise when I was all done! Alicia runs a very organized and effective training program. She is very competent, energizing, and shows you how to adjust exercises to your fitness level. I HIGHLY recommend! You can check out the website for more information. I believe they offer free boot camp sessions from time to time, so doesn't hurt to try it out! read more

As a new-comer who is slow with all of the exercises, I can say that if you have not been exercising at all, or have been working out on your own, but not pushing yourself, Forte Fitness is where you need to be. The trainers are positive and encourage you to do your best--at whatever pace that may be. The other members are friendly and welcoming. Overall, the owner has established a great "culture" for the business that makes people want to be on board! read more

I've trained at many fitness establishments from mainstream franchise gyms, to CrossFit boxes, to Olympic lifting facilities, but by far I find the best overall fitness bang-for-the-buck and results come through this business right here. Their boot camps are challenging but also filled with such a variety that you will never grow tired. They've got a staff that is killer. I mean killer. From ownership all the way to the trainers everyone is extremely personable, extremely caring, and extremely knowledgeable. Would recommend this company to anyone for their fitness needs! read more

Jenn and her team have been a blessing to me. I am on a hard road to fitness and I couldn't imagine going through it in a different way. My husband and I are very unfit but wanted to make a huge step and join boot camp. We go to the location at South Econ. Its a small but devoted group. The schedule that is available works perfectly with our schedule and we feel so accomplished when we finish each class. Jenn and her team at no point make us feel like we are less than for being so physically unfit. She cheers us on and tells us constantly that we are doing better than before. This is so important to me and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me. read more

Classes are offered at multiple locations at a variety of times six days a week. I can always find a day, time, and location that works for my schedule. Forte fitness! What can I say.. Life Change! I started back in august bought a groupon just to see what " bootcamps" were about... I was a bit timid because it was not just working out but eating right as well.. and honestly I did NOT want to change my eating habits. I was motivated and desperate for change so I did the 3 weeks. WOW!! I lost 15 pds I lost all those sweet craving and I gained Confidence!! Forte not only helps you lose the weight but it also changes your mind set. I told alisha that I did not want a special diet pill or some crazy yo- yo diet. I came back in Jan (of course) and lost 10 more pds!! I feel unstoppable I feel accomplished and I feel soooooo healthy! I give forte 5 stars! All the trainers are motivational. You definitely wont regret it! There's nothing like feeling comfortable where you work out at. I hate gyms and this for sure is not a gym! read more

Forte is the best full body work-out I have ever done. The trainers are amazing and do a great job of instructing and correcting form. I have three kids 4 and under, and doing bootcamp has made me stronger and have more energy to run around and play with them. I used to feel so exhausted toting kids on my hip while trying to do housework or grocery shopping, and now I can do that stuff with ease, it doesn't exhaust me and I feel so strong doing it. It's a worthy investment for anyone looking for a great team of people and a very energizing and strengthening work-out. read more

This is my first time doing intense exercise in 2 years after I was in a car accident and had extensive surgery in my right leg. This was the right step! The 14 day challenge was fantastic. It really changed so many aspects of my exercise routine and diet! The boot camp is challenging, but you feel a great sense of accomplishment when you finish. The diet really opened my eyes to all the bad things I was putting in my body! I even quit Coca-Cola (which I thought I could never do!) and sugary drinks! The trainers are supportive and caring and are with you every step of the way. It's a llfe changer. read more

My fiance' and I love Forte Fitness! We receive personal training in a couples package 2x per week and go to bootcamp at least 1x per week. The personal training is excellent! It is challenging and fun at the same time. The trainer is amazing at tailoring the workout to our very different fitness levels and needs. She carefully plans each session- considering our past injuries and current goals. She is extremely professional and has a very high level of expertise. Every workout is unique and well-balanced. I don't always love the activities in the moment (because they are hard work and new for me) but I feel so proud at the end of each session. The bootcamp classes are lots of fun! Everyone is friendly, supportive, and positive towards one another. I was so nervous the first time I went to a class. I was quickly relieved to see there were people of all fitness levels and everyone brought a spirit of encouragement/non-judgement. My fiance' used to work out at Crossfit but had to stop after a few serious injuries. She feels like the personal training and bootcamp classes provide a balance of getting a good workout without a high likelihood of injuries. The personal training even incorporates the Crossfit style that she loves. We highly recommend Forte Fitness! It's worth every penny! read more
