Once we began training, the first thing I noticed about Dave was his superior knowledge in how my body would respond to his challenges. That is when I became confident that he would know exactly how to get me to my goal. I must be honest, his sessions were no joke. There were times when I felt like I wanted to die, but he was such a great motivator! His encouragement made me feel like I could do this and you know what? He was right! After each workout I felt great about myself and I was amazed that I was capable of meeting each challenge that he had laid out for me. In June of 2012 I met my goal and was ECSTATIC! When I began tracking my weight loss I was at 241lbs and when I began with Dave I was at 213lbs. Dave was able to give me that extra push to reach 198, a weight that I haven't seen since my freshman year of college. Not only did I lose weight, but I also lost 12 inches overall! Without Dave I do not think I would have been able to achieve my goal so quickly. To those of you who are considering a trainer, I highly recommend Dave because he'll know exactly what to do to reach your goals. Believe me, if I can do it anyone can."

This place is really just a cut above every other gym I've ever been to- though it's almost unfair to compare it with any other place because the model is so different. There are no drop-ins or self-directed exercises where you mindlessly use a cardio or weight machine, etc. All of the trainers are friendly, supportive and unintimidating (yeah even you, Wayne!) I started out obese and desperately needed structure, discipline and support. I found all of that and more in my trainer, Travis Sillery. He showed me the patience and encouragement I needed, kept me motivated, challenged my ability, believed in me and always made the workouts fun. I actually looked forward to each visit! I'm not gonna lie, there were times I was pushed to my limits, but I loved it. Travis isn't just another trainer, he is is truly a caring person who will become a friend. Not only does he educate his clients during workouts, but he really lives what he teaches! His positive attitude will permeate your entire outlook and will live on far beyond each personalized training session. Travis quite literally changed my life. Today, I am in the best shape I have ever been in and finally fall into the normal weight category. There is still some room for improvement, but I couldn't have made it this far without him.
