I've been coming to Dr. Meadows for years and even when she retires I will still beg her to clean my teeth! I was scarred years ago by Jefferson Dental with an awful deep cleaning. I was a whole baby when I came to Dr. Meadows. I wouldn't even open my mouth because I was seriously afraid. I've had countless amounts of great experiences over the past 5+ years. I don't do reviews often I had such a good experience with Dr. Meadows I had to say so. I had to have a crown which meant removing a very large filling from a tooth in the back of my small mouth which was not easy for any of us. Even the numbing wasn't bad, I hardly noticed it. She and her hygienist Nancy did a great job, they were patient, considerate and efficient. I look forward to making Dr. Meadows my regular dentist. read more

I am a new patient moving from another dentist in the area who retired. I found Dr. Meadows through researching area dentists close to my home. Started practice with teeth cleaning than repairing a cracked tooth with a crown. I have problems with dry mouth and sensitive tongue from mouth cancer treatments. All employees and Dr. Meadows were concerned with my pain, took care to accommodate me, and were efficient. So far, the crown is working. I found the practice clean and a bit old fashion which I appreciated. No long waiting time in lobby for appointment. Prices were reasonable for service provided. I would not hesitate to refer this dentist to family members and friends. read more

I've used Dr. Meadows for nearly 5 years for teeth cleaning, whitening, and even clear correct to straighten my teeth. Granted I don't have cavities because I care for my teeth daily to begin with but I have been under the grinder for the clear correct adjustments and it was painless. I always have a good experience when I go to her office. Everyone is so pleasant. If your appointment is at 3 then you are in the chair at 3:01.I went to another dentist 1 time because they had Saturday hours. I walked out on that office and made an appointment asap with Dr Meadows. I'd rather miss a lil work and get good customer service from someone I trust. I can't think of anything negative to say. After almost 20 years of treatment from Dr. Meadows, I am sorry to say that she has been a disappointment. Because of her lack of knowledge about dentistry, I have incurred almost half of my salary in dental expenses for gum/bone grafting, in order to save my teeth, along with 2 implants. I opted out of a bridge and am not wanting to die with dentures. If you don't mind losing your teeth and paying for dentures, or just gumming your way through life, you will be happy with Dr. Meadows. Her staff is nice and she'll send you on your way thinking that everything is just dandy! I have a complaint in the process with the Texas Board of Dental Examiners. read more

I hadn't been to a dentist in a number of years & had to have a root canal, as my tooth had become extremely painful. I had seen Dr. Meadows' office from Abrams Rd., so I called to see if I could be seen. Cody was very warm & friendly & was happy to make an appointment for me. Dr. Meadows was GREAT, as was her assistant, Nancy. My root canal was under a crown & Dr. Meadows was able to save it & I didn't have to spend money on another crown. There were a couple of good things I got from my ex-wife, a good nail salon (Classy Nails) and a dentist. I've always hated to go to the dentist but my experience with Dr. Meadows and her staff has changed all that. Linda cleans my teeth. She's very good, patiently provides feedback on my brushing habits....yes, she can tell whether the brushing technique is good or poor, for that matter, by looking at your teeth. Dr. Meadows performs the examination and does a wonderful job. Everyone in this office is pleasant, professional and truly love their profession. read more

While I was pleased with the work performed by my previous dentist I thought his fees were higher than average and there always seemed to be a push for more work to be done. Root scaling and deep cleaning was recommended but I declined. I got a second opinion from another dentist and was told that my gums looked great and it wasn't necessary. Several months later I developed a tooth ache and contacted the dentist that had given me the second opinion for treatment. As it turned out he was not on my insurance plan. I found Dr. Meadows through my insurance company in August of 1996. She called me that evening to discuss my symptoms and opened the office early the next day and did a root canal. Since that time (17 years) I have had 2 more root canals, a few fillings, silver fillings removed, and 7 crowns. 4 of the crowns were done across the front to cosmetically update 30 year old dental work that was initially done due to repair broken teeth as a teenager. I believe that you can trust Dr Meadows to provide necessary and elective treatment without the sales pressure from the Dr. or the staff. If you need a tooth extracted, Dr. Meadows is the dentist for you!!! I am no stranger to dental problems. I knew I had let my tooth go too long without treatment. I suffered that horrible pain one has when a tooth is considered 'blown up'. My daughter and grandchildren have had Dr. Meadows as their dentist for many years. So this morning when I called in desperate need of relief, I was told I could just come on in and Dr. Meadows would work me in. I didn't even have to wait 15 minutes. I was put in the chair & X-rays were taken. Dr. Meadows came in within less than 5 minutes, did the oral evaluation, talked with me a little bit. She swabbed my gums with topical anesthetic at the two places where she gave me the injections I DID NOT feel the puncture of the needle. After the injections that cause the lower & upper jaw on the left side to be COMPLETELY numb she told me she needed to wait 10 minutes to allow the anesthesia to do it's thing. 10 minutes later she was at my side & began the extraction. It was maybe 5 minutes & the assistant placed gauze in my mouth. I was shocked that the tooth was out. I did not feel a thing. I was waiting to feel that final surge of pain when the tooth is pulled out. Didn't happen. Dr. Meadows is awesome. I cannot thank her enough for taking such great care of me. She & all her staff are professional & at the same time very personal. I'm not back to feeling like a room without a roof :) read more

Dr. Meadows is poised, her office staff friendly, and the nitrous oxide plentiful. Don't judge the book by it's pleasant cover - an insidious lack of professional competency lurks here. I spent several years going to Dr. Meadows for my dental needs, including a root canal. To my surprise, a year later the same root-canal-treated tooth erupted in painful throbbing. I referred myself to an endodontist who showed me the second untreated root that Dr. Meadows missed, clearly visible on an x-ray, and informed me that I'd need the root canal redone. To add insult to injury, once the endodontist got into the tooth, he found she had used inferior fill material. Furthermore, I have since been informed that it was illegal for Dr. Meadows's hygienist to perform the grinding adjustments to the crown they placed. And I've been informed by my new dentist that I have several untreated cavities. A dental practice to avoid. read more

I have been going to Dr Meadows for over 22 years. She has been truthful and honest about my dental care and has worked with me on numerous occasions financially when I was low on money so that I could still get the best care possible. She has done root canals, crowns, and gum treatments for me..... Literally saving my teeth. I have sent her many referrals and everyone that I know has also been very happy. Her staff has been with her for many years which speaks volumes about her work ethic and personality. It is a comfortable place to go and I would recommend her to anyone. She is conservative in her dental treatment when its so easy to get ripped off by dentists now days who are trying to tell you that you need treatment that is not really necessary. Give her a chance and you will not be disappointed and ask for Codi ( who is her chair-side assistant) this girl will keep you laughing the entire appointment. read more
