We needed a place to store our sailboat while our driveway was being repaved. Golden Target offered…read morea relatively good deal for a one-month lease, so we signed on. Unfortunately, we were put next to someone storing a dilapidated camper (rotten wood, exposed fiberglass insulation). We figured it had been there for a while. On the day that we decide to retrieve our boat, the owner of the camper is ripping it up and dismantling it in the storage spot, dumping shards of rotten wood, insulation and (no doubt) asbestos all over the area. I asked the manager if he was allowed to do that, she said "Well, no, but..." went on to say he has to remove the camper and dismantling it was the only way. I expressed my concern around having fiberglass and asbestos flying everywhere and she said, "Well, the wind is blowing. You won't breathe it in." In short, if you don't want your RV/Boat stored next to trash, don't patronize this business.

The facility is kept very clean and secure with gates entered by your specific passcode. Management goes out of their way to make sure my needs are met. I get deliveries from trucking companies which require assistance. They notify me when a delivery has arrived or is arriving. Great place and people to be associated with. I have used other facilities in the past but the buck stops here.

FACILITIES: Their facility is new, easy to enter/exit, 1 mile from 25, has two dump stations, water, 24 hour access, 24/7 onsite security, PRIVATE (no one walking by on the sidewalk watching you load or unload), bright lights, video surveillance connected to my phone, a wash bay and a service bay where you can pull your rig to do small repair jobs if needed. 5* CUSTOMER SERVICE: Ask about their move-in specials - I got almost an entire month for free and no admin fees. As I was moving across state, I communicated in advance that I couldn't be there until after their official closing time and that I was starting work the next morning. Carly went out of her way to be there when I arrived (around 9 PM), helped guide my rig in and had my access key and paperwork ready to sign so that I could unload and be on my way. Her patience, thoughtfulness and customer-oriented approach really made for a soft landing which was a highlight after a long day of moving!

I did not want to touch the bed frame which I left in the storage unit to be thrown away. Everything that I could take out of the unit was taken out on Saturday. You are not allowed to take money from any account. Telephone calls were not returned. No one seemed to know what any of the other staff was doing. After driving across town we could not get into the storage unit. Very poor service. I hope no one Your very poor business practices will be reported to the authorities. If you take money from any account that will be reported to the authorities as well. I am appalled and shocked how you could remain in business with the poor business practices over a year of rental costs of $100 per month... As far as I am concerned you need to refund money back to Mr. Hanks for the rat and mouse infiltration, your lack of up keep and not sealing the unit. We are done paying anything more to Armored Mini Storage. The public needs to know that their belongs are pretty much destroyed while being stored at your facility Ann Galloway

We're storing some of our extensive collection of crap...I mean cherished possessions, at Armored…read moreMini-Storage for some time before we move everything to Chicago. We are obviously very interested in keeping our stuff in good condition, safe and secure, and in a controlled climate. In comes Armored. We set up a smallish indoor storage area and started moving our stuff in. The manager of Armored was really helpful, accommodating not only my wife and I moving things in, but also our movers who we hired separately. He could have said something like "yeah, your unit is over there, go to town", but he didn't. He walked me and my movers up to the unit, offered up his carts and dollies for the move. Not only that but he helped us move the truck into place right behind his personal vehicle. After a couple hours and we were not sure of the capacity of our current storage unit to hold all our shi...stuff, we asked the manager if we could get a larger unit. Unfortunately, there were no larger units available, but the manager said that he would help us get an additional unit if we needed it and make us a good deal on it to boot. Very nice! We ended up not needing additional units, but it was so cool for the manager to work with us. Great space and great service. Thanks!
