I've been going to Debon Nails for almost a year since we moved back to AZ. There are other salons closer to my house but it's worth the extra drive to go to Debon. The atmosphere is pleasant and the salon is clean. They take walk-ins but I usually make an appointment (I've rarely had to wait and not more than 5 minutes. Most salons I've gone to in the past make you wait because they are running late, no matter if you have an appointment or not) because they can get busy. With some time to kill while the dude was getting his hair cut a couple doors over, I was happy to see a nail spa where I could take care of my eyebrows which were about a month overdue for a wax. It wasn't too busy around 11:30 on a Saturday, which maybe should've been my first clue. All the staff was friendly, and they were able to squeeze me in for a wax immediately. The waxing room, and the rest of the salon itself, looked to be very clean and organized. The woman doing my brows was very nice, and checked with me to make sure the wax wasn't too hot, which is always appreciated. She was very slow and meticulous, so the whole thing ended up taking a bit longer than I had anticipated--I wasn't in a hurry so it wasn't a big deal, just something to keep in mind. Plus, I figured meticulous meant my brows would look great when all was said and done. Eh. They were fine. She didn't mess them up, so I can't call it a bad wax. But it also seemed like she did very little to clean up the disaster zone that was my eyebrows. When I got home and was able to inspect closer, I found that she missed a ton of the little baby hairs... you know, the reason to go get your brows actually waxed in the first place. It was $12 for the brow wax, which isn't insane pricey, just higher than I usually find in a nail spa. It was pricey considering I didn't feel she did all that much for that amount. I probably wouldn't return for a wax, but might give them a shot at my nails if I'm in the area with some time to kill. read more

Came in for pedicures. Our water was cold. They gave us attitude when we asked for warmer. Left us sitting for 15 mins in the cold water before turning on the hot and actually starting our pedicures. I asked my girl NOT to cut my corners off and explained when they grow back I get ingrowns. What's the first thing she does?! -cut my corners off. Like the ONE thing I asked. My nails are now clipped crooked. We made two appointments for pedis at the same time hours in advance. My girl finished mine then started on my boyfriend (see pics). We were there for SO much longer than anticipated- I've never had someone do my pedicure then do my boyfriends. It's always at the same time. The massage was nowhere near the full 8mins as advertised. A different girl painted my toes and did a really good job. Due to the lack of service/timing I'm giving one star. read more

Mandy is the best!! I have a curved nail bed and have a hard time finding nail techs that can actually do my nails correctly. She is an expert! I do acrylic w/ gel. Anyone there does great pedicures as well, and their chairs are clean & comfy. Great location clean and nice. I have been going here for years and went in to use a gift card of $100 that I was gifted for Christmas a couple years ago. (I was given the receipt with the gift card so it showed the date it was purchased). When I went to use this, they said they switched owners and their new system doesn't read the gift card. I had no idea they switched owners and the gift card doesn't say it expires. I was told to come in and speak to Victor who would switch it out to a new gift card. When I came in he said he can only give me $50 as they cant show the amount the gift card has on it. I asked to speak to the owner and he said he doesn't have his number. I asked when he comes in and he said he stops in randomly. I am appalled at how they couldn't help me more when I can prove with the receipt how much is on it. The gift card has numbers on the back so not sure why they can't see how much is on it. They kept saying they switched owners and the computer system but how was I supposed to know that. I asked how long ago did they switch owners and he said 2 weeks ago... I hope the owner sees this so anyone with an old gift card can use it. The new gift card has the same name, logo, number and everything as my old one. I would just love to speak with a manager the owner or anyone who can assist me in figuring this out. read more
