Debbie was so kind and the photos turned out incredible. She suggested a bunch of locations and the one we settled on was gorgeous. We both thoroughly enjoyed working with her for our Engagement shoot and we have booked her to shoot our wedding as well.

My fiancé & I highly recommend Debbie - She is so warm, professional, & will get you the perfect shots!! Debbie worked with my now fiancé to do a surprise engagement photoshoot. I did not even notice her at the location. After the first proposal, I loved that she let us do one more take. We actually preferred using the second shots. It's always great to have options. My favorite part was when Debbie captured our family's reactions to the engagement. My mom was crying & she captured ALL the emotions & excitement on this amazing day. The photos are beautiful, she enhanced the true colors perfectly while still not looking too edited. We are so very happy we chose Debbie to capture this day!

Debbie was fun to work with, easy to communicate with and got our beautiful engagement photos back to us very quickly! We are super happy with the results.

Debbie was absolutely amazing to work with! She was easy & flexible to coordinate schedules with. She gave guidance for poses. She also took the time to make our 8month old smile in the pictures which is not an easy task. AND our family portraits turned out beautiful! We will 100% use Debbie again!

I found Debbie during a Google search for wedding photographers in Cambria for our beach wedding, and I loved her portfolio! She is easy to correspond with via email and texting and laid back in person. The day of our wedding she jumped into action, everyone mentioned how professional, diligent and energetic she was nimbly running around, jumping up on logs and climbing on ledges to get just the right shot. I sent her a list of specific photos I wanted and she made sure to get them and so much more! We couldn't be happier with how she captured our special day! Her prices are more than reasonable for what she did for us! Thank you so much Debbie!

Debbie made Vince's proposal to me so special! He hired her for a surprise proposal at Hearst castle and she was so sneaky! Afterward, we had such a great time around the property and the photos turned out great!

Debbie shot our wedding this past weekend in Cambria and we are trilled with the result. She is a gifted Photographer we found online. We had our hearts set on her once we saw her pictures. She shot our ceremony on the coast on a foggy day. She captured us in our truth and in our joy. I no longer think of her as a stranger. I think of her as a friend who captured an incredibly important moment in our lives. I wish I could say more to express how happy she has made us and how significant her input and advice was on our big day. Thank you Debbie.

Debbie made our entire experience perfect from start to finish! I was very skeptical about hiring a photographer because I wanted someone who would fit in with the calm and fun experience I wanted from my wedding. We met with Debbie to test the waters and immediately loved her low-key and calm vibe. We hired her to take engagement photos and could not believe the amazing moments she was able to capture (including a hilarious set of photos where we accidentally got caught in the waves...woops!). I had high expectations for our wedding photos after the engagement shoot and Debbie did not disappoint. She completely captured the spirit of our wedding and gave us the gift of photos that we will cherish our whole lives. She has an excellent eye for colors and frames, finding beautiful shots in unexpected places. She was also very affordable based on my research. I would hire Debbie again in a second!

Ember - Wood fired summer squash pizza

The ribeye steak was the BEST ONE hubby and I have had ever. No exaggeration. Our poor dogs only…read moregot a few bites because it was just that good. We also shared a mushroom and sausage wood fired pizza that was amazing also. Drinks, service was great. Our server suggested a Stolpman wine that was perfect for the perfect ribeye. It was our anniversary and I couldn't think of a better place to celebrate.

More Can Be Less…read more.... It was that time of the year - my birthday - so we decided to have dinner "a notch above" where we typically go. I've been to Ember 3 or 4 times in the past 8 years, but another visit was overdue. - Overall: 4 - Location: 5 - Ambiance: 4 - Menu: 4 - Wine List Selections: 5 - Wine List Prices: 3 - Food: 4 - Service: 5 - Price and Value: 4 - Parking: 4 - Location: Convenient from Pismo Beach to Nipomo, but San Luis Obispo to Santa Maria is not too much of a stretch. - Ambiance: Rustic, yet contemporary. A wood fired pizza oven is just left of the entrance...a large bar is ahead on the right...wooden tables are arrayed throughout and there's an outdoor patio for nice weather. We sat at a table for 2 in the raised section toward the back since there's less hubbub away from the front. - Menu: Moderate in size with lots of creative sounding selections. We had 2 suggestions for improvement - Add soup and definitely a few more choices for vegetarians. - Wine List: Excellent, but no bargain. Ember has a really nice group of wines indicating it's been curated with a knowing eye. However, prices are twice - or more - what you'd pay in a store. - Food: Excellent...if a bit heavy. My wife and I shared 2 appetizers - Pepper Creek Farm Heirloom Tomatoes ($18) and Fried Green Tomatoes ($23). Both were very good, but many added ingredients overpowered the main feature: Tomatoes. My entree was Swordfish ($44). The piece if fish was fairly small, but the accompanying vegetables and sauces filled out my plate. My wife had the Half Chicken ($38) which was big enough to take some home for lunch the next day. She, too, liked her dish but felt too much "froth" obscured the "main event". Sometimes simple is best. The dessert menu was small - 3 items - so we passed. We had a bottle of Talley Chardonnay ($56) which was a fine choice for our meal. One other item to mention was the house bread. Fantastic. I'd but loaves if they sold it. - Service: Fine. "Bill S" took care of our table with a light yet knowing touch. - Price and Value: Reasonable. Our bill before tax and tip of $174 was about as expected for a nice meal. - Parking: Adequate. There's a lot in front of Ember which is fine when it isn't crowded. Otherwise, you might need to use a neighboring street. Ember is certainly worth a visit, but many of the dishes might offer more than what you'd prefer. Next time we'll get one of their famous pizzas.
