Dean is officially the fastest man in North OC. I barely had time to panic about my locked home office before he pulled up (literally 5 minutes after I called). He opened the door instantly--no drama, no damage, just pure expertise. I'm pretty sure he was waiting around the corner like a locksmith ninja. 10/10 would lock myself out again just to see him work his magic read more

Called around some different places to get my new remote control for my Van programmed. Finally got a hold of Dean. Was really close to me. Gave me a price over the phone and when I was finally able to get over to his shop, it took him less than a minute to program it And charged me exactly what he said it would be, which was a super fair price way better than anyone else's. I'll be calling him for all my lock smithing needs in the future thanks, Dean. read more

Dean rekeyed my mom's house years ago and was a class act throughout the process. I've used his services numerous times over the years and I can't say enough about how professional, detailed, and honest the guy is. His responsiveness, punctuality, and sense of urgency are unmatched. I've dealt with other locksmiths who are less than scrupulous in their business methodology and seem more concerned with making a buck than helping the client. Dean is the exact opposite in the fact he is transparent with his pricing, knowledge, and quality of work. He is a consummate professional and a master at what he does. Couldn't recommend him more. read more

Dean was fair in pricing and was a great communicator through the troubleshooting process and scheduling the visit to my house. I would recommend him. read more

Friendly and efficient. Recommend for anyone who is looking to have their key made ASAP.

Quick response Flexible appointments Fast work I am such a procrastinator but my interaction with Dean was great. Was able to install a lock on my sliding glass door and re-key an old door lock I had lost the key too. He did it within the hour. I love how efficient this interaction was and I appreciate that he accepts Venmo. I no longer carry cash and this saved me a trip to the bank. read more

The service was outstanding! He responded right away and was able to get me inside my house.

This was the second time my 3 yr old locked our master bedroom door and closed it from the hallway. Dean replied within 5 min to my request for a quote through Yelp. He was the soonest available (within the hour) came right on time within 45 min, unlocked it almost instantly, was courteous and honest, and ended up being the most affordable too after giving us a discount since the job was more straightforward than expected. He even taught me how I could pick the knob myself in the future, which I later tried on my own and was successful! :) But if I still should need someone in the future I know who to call! Thank you! read more

I used the yelp suggested vendors for quotes along with a few highly rated or close geographically for a total of 8 quotes. The service requested was for a new key FOB for an auto. ( I had changed the battery but it still didn't work.) Dean's quote came in second for price missing first by a hair. He also was the closest geographically to me. What really moved the needle was him asking questions and giving me options. That did it for me and I told him to come on down. Dean arrived within 30 minutes and proceeded to show me my options. He also at my request tried to reprogram the old FOB which didn't work but I appreciate the effort. He did everything well and professional with 40 years experience. He is very knowledgeable and didn't mind me chatting while he worked. My vehicle was older so by getting a stand alone FOB along with an backup emergency steel key saved me 30 percent. (This solution doesn't work with all vehicles) My other advice is unless its a real emergency try to go with normal business hours. I love how he set up his truck which was neat and clean and very well organized. Also keep in mind he is a one man operation which is a blessing and a curse. It keeps his overhead low but if he is driving or working he may be tough to answer right away. Bottom line I would absolutely hire him again read more

Dean responded quickly to my email and he was very flexible on my needs. We had home rekey 4 Baldwin locks and provide 3 keys and the prices was the most competitive and fair. He was on time and completed the job in 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend him for my future needs. read more

Super quick response. No BS, just gave the price. Which was reasonable. Flexible with my schedule. Super fast work.

Just got a Honda key copied by Dean and I am very happy with the service I received. Prior to contacting Dean, I got a spare Honda key copied at Home Depot (for a 90's Honda so no need for transponder copying, just the metal key blank). However, either the employee at Home Depot or the machinery they use was faulty and ruined the new key I needed to get copied. As a result, I contacted several locksmiths in the area (via Yelp messaging/estimate service) and Deans provided the lowest estimate so I arranged for a future time to meet whenever he had a job closer to my area. Today was the day that worked out best for Dean and I and after a few short minutes of copying my new key blank and testing it out, all was successful. He even attempted to repair the key that was ruined by Home Depot but was unable to (but the fact that he even tried was appreciated). I will be using Dean for all of my future key repairs/locksmithing needs and highly recommend him for his excellent service and more than fair prices. read more

Dean was so quick to respond,I was blown away! His pricing was right on the money for a very difficult job ! He was punctual and friendly and accommodating to our needs $300 we got the best deal ! I would not hesitate to recommend Dean to anybody and I do. read more

Service above and beyond! We contacted Dean for locksmith services to have a replacement key FOB programmed for our 2021 Toyota Highlander. Since we already purchased the key FOB, it would simply require a locksmith to program the key with our vehicle. After reaching out to several locksmiths, Dean was the most responsive and gave the best quote from among several area locksmiths. When Dean tried to program the key FOB we provided, it wouldn't work. He then stated he would return with another aftermarket key FOB and attempt it again. After another failed attempt, Dean contacted us a few days later and said he obtained another key FOB which would be half the cost of the Toyota OEM key FOB. He again came out and arrived at the time he stated and programmed the key within 15 minutes. He then proceeded to cut the key blade. Fantastic service! Would highly recommend Dean to anyone looking for a locksmith who knows his trade and will partner it with outstanding service! THANK YOU DEAN!! read more
