Dr. Dean Larit is not your ordinary chiropractor. I'd spent the last 2 years trying different types of services and supplements to help my daughter's anxiety. We'd also seen chiropractors which weren't really effective much at all....until we found Dr. Dean Larit! He worked on all of my daughter's painful areas, and her atlas C1/C2. Last minute I injured my low back and no one was available but Dr Dean. I almost drove to thr ER because of the amount of pain I was in. I have chronic low back paim and several herniated discs. I couldnt walk straight or stand up still. My pain was so intense I literally broke down in tears on his table. I contacted Dr. Dean on a Friday night with terrible low back pain and headaches. I was shuffling in the house like an elderly woman. Dr. Dean was able to see me at his office at 10:30pm. My husband brought me to the appointment. Dr. Dean gave me a very thorough treatment which included fixing my neck, back (except one area of my upper back that I asked him to avoid), low back, and even my hip joint. I've had a lot of physical therapy and Dr. Dean is the only doctor who has ever addressed my hip except for one outstanding physical therapist in Florida. I went from walking hunched over like an elderly woman to walking upright. I was extremely grateful that he was able to fit me in the same night that I contacted him and that he could alleviate my pain. And my husband was also thrilled. I was nervous to let Dr. Dean adjust a particular area of my upper spine in the first visit. I have medical issues there. He told me that he wanted to adjust me there, but he would avoid it to honor my request. He recommended that I bring my MRI results next time to see if he felt that it would be safe to adjust me there. I rested the next day. And then I went to a 4-hour dance class the following day. After the long dance class, I reached out to Dr. Dean again hoping he could give me a follow up adjustment. I was doing MUCH better than before I saw Dr. Dean, but I had tightness in my upper back where I didn't let him adjust me on the first visit, so I had the tightness there before I saw Dr. Dean and I wanted to bring him my MRI results and see if he could adjust me there too. I trusted him much more after the first visit and the good results. Lucky for me, Dr. Dean had two other emergency patients and he was able to fit me in between them. I brought my MRI results to this second visit. Dr. Dean did a little bit of work on my neck and hip which had held their first adjustment quite well. He also reviewed my MRI results and adjusted my back. Wow! So much relief! I should have trusted him on my first visit to adjust my whole spine. After this second adjustment where I trusted him to do all of the work that he felt was needed, WOW! My back feels amazing. NO tightness in my neck. My hip is doing great. And my back feels great! No more pain. No headaches. I am amazed that I have found a doctor who can adjust my hip like my awesome PT in Florida used to do too. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dean. He knows what he's doing and he really cares about helping his patients. I was treated by Dr Dean a couple of weeks ago when a knot between my shoulders and up the right side of my neck was giving me a migraine. I couldn't sleep well because I had to have my head positioned just so or I would exacerbate the knot. Dr Dean intuitively located the issue and worked his magic, while frequently checking in on me and how I was feeling. As I was laying in bed the other night, I suddenly realized I had no neck or back pain AT ALL. It didn't matter how I laid my head on the pillow. I saw Dr.Dean Larit on Sunday 8:00pm I was in pain and my problem was my sciatica nerve. It was pinched i couldn't sleep at all due to the pain and i was very limited when it came down to walking. I couldn't even tie my shoes. After my visit i walked out with no pain was able to walk normal also tie my shoes, he took care of the pain and the problem i was having in my hip due to the sciatica being pinched. My wife has benefitted from Dr. Dean Larit's care for the past 9 years. She first came to see him shortly after our son was born and felt that she needed an adjustment to help with some of the intermittent pain she was having. She was worried that she would be dependent on coming back frequently for follow up adjustments but when she does come in (maybe every few years or so), his adjustment does the trick and lasts for a long time. Less neck/headaches. Recently, she brought in our 12 yr old daughter who was reporting intermittent neck/headaches (she was doing gymnastics for a while). He's equally great with kids and adults. He's funny, down to earth, and will give you some extra health advice. I'll start by saying this is all personal to me-- if you're chill with everything I'm about to mention, than you do you! Dr. Dean's a cool guy and very laid back. I'm just used to something different in medical settings, so I'm sharing this review in case others are like me. The whole experience was... odd. Not bad, but odd. I was expecting a doctor's office or something similar. This is not that. It's a very laid-back, non-sterile, small environment. It's a single, small room in the back of a yoga studio. Because I was expecting a more medical environment, I wore a mask. Dr. Dean asked me why I was still wearing it, then went on a tangent about covid and vaccines. Whatev, everyone's entitled to their opinions. I also want to mention privacy. Because I was expecting a doctor's office type of experience, it was uncomfortable to me that I was being adjusted in full view of open windows on the street. Nothing to do with Dr. Dean himself, but I'm mentioning it here to describe the space so others can know. Additionally, Dr. Dean brought in another patient while I was being adjusted. I heard her go through her medical history and explain her issues. I didn't mind because I was just being adjusted, but if I were in her position sharing my medical history, I would feel uncomfortable. Originally, I thought this was just because I was maybe 5 minutes late and so he was behind, but reading other reviews, I gather this is a common occurrence. It wouldn't be a big deal but again, this is all in the same small room with no separation. Last, my appointment was very long. Like I put 45 minutes in the meter and it wasn't enough. Dr. Dean talks a lot. This isn't a bad thing, but after I was adjusted I really just wanted to leave and I was too awkward to do anything but keep up the conversation. At the end of the day, did the adjustment feel good and give some temporary relief? yeah. If that's all you care about, he's great! Overall a unique experience for sure. read more

I don't know where to even begin - this guy is a genius!!!! A true magician. About a month ago, I've experienced my jaw locking on my right side and not being able to open up three-four fingers width (the normal amount). I went to the dentist and they did a non invasive red light laser treatment therapy that penetrates deep through the muscle joints to release the tension I was experiencing. After a few hours after my visit it seemed to have loosen up and I was normal again. Last Friday morning I woke up and my jaw had locked on my right again but not only that it began to shift when I attempted to open my mouth. Something was really wrong here. I went to the dentist again to do the same treatment which was no help. Last night I stumbled upon chiropractors in my area and Dr. Larit was the top recommendation with nothing but great reviews. I sent in a contact form and he called me about 30 minutes later (it was 10 pm mind you) he listened to me and wanted to help me. Today I went to his office for the first time for my issue and not only is my jaw open fully and I feel great, but he is just as funny and charismatic as these reviews say he is. Once I arrived I was greeted by friendly yogis and a very warm welcome from Dean. He was very warm and the paperwork portion was fast and simple. Depending on your situation/ pain, a typical session includes a series of processes such as heat, Spinalator table and alignment/adjustment. Dean helped target, and alleviate the pain. Dean's office is located in the Norho Yoga Center. The environment smells good and is very peaceful, zen and calming. I had my reservations about going, but definitely enjoyed my session and I'm grateful Dean was able to fit me in his busy schedule after such a short notice. He also provided me with a series of stretches and warm ups to help ease the pressure and inflammation. Additionally, he helped fix other issues from my feet and ankles to my hips, spine, back and neck. I don't regret my decision and would not only attend in the future but also, I would recommend him. Dr. Dean saved me. He really did. I have never experienced the pain that I was suffering from prior to this recent episode. It was so bad two weeks ago that I had to go to emergency in the middle of the night because I thought I was having appendicitis. The pain was so severe that they gave me a morphine drip at Kaiser. If you know anything about Kaiser, that should give you an idea of how bad this was. After two CT scans and determining it wasn't my appendix, it was finally figured out that I had a severely compressed nerve in my back. I saw a chiropractor soon after who did deep tissue massage which only made the pain worse. It was so horrible that I couldn't eat and couldn't sleep. Finally, this past Sunday and out of my mind with pain, I looked online for a chiropractor who was open on Sundays. I only found two, one of which was Dr. Dean and he was closest to my home. At this point, I was so desperate, that I would have gone to anyone just to try to make the pain go away. Yesterday, Tuesday, I had a second appointment with Dr. Dean. He figured out exactly which vertebrae was causing the excruciating nerve pain. I walked out of the session--I mean I WALKED without shooting, electrical, pain for the first time in over two weeks and slept like a baby for the first time since this happened last night. Amazing experience! Highly recommended especially in a pinch. I got into a bit of an accident and landed hard on my left side. Had soreness in my middle back, stiff shoulders and neck. I felt pretty bad as I called him last minute and he was going for a hike. He returned from his hike early to accommodate my late last minute appointment, thoroughly listened to my concerns and played great soothing music while he went to work on my body. I feel so much better after being adjusted, the shoulder pain has been eliminated and my range of motion greatly increased. I had some pain when twisting my body but felt great after the adjustment.
