I was in rear end accident that wasn't my fault in Dec 2021. Dealership was closed so Progressive sent my truck to DPC. It is now going on the 3rd year that they have had my truck and it's still not fixed. While in their possession, my plates have been stolen, the truck door was left open and someone had gone through all of the glove box and console and scattered all my things all over the cab, the batteries I just replaced a month before the accident were dead. They keep giving excuses, Covid, GM strike, national shortage on parts...now when I call I am getting they are busy and will call me back in 10 minutes... and never a call back. I wish there was more I can do to get them to give me my truck back. I have no personal transportation. read more

I have gotten so many false hopes I was going to get my truck back, but has always a few more days or next week...been like this for 2 years. Meanwhile, my plates were stolen, the truck was setting outside with door open, batteries dead and someone had gone through all the stuff I left in there and threw it all around the cab of the truck, stole a drill and battery booster I also had left. DPC could not or wasn't able to do the repair on the axle, so it had to go to the dealership to get repairs done there. The repairs were completed on August 31 2023. DPC waited a month before they picked up the truck from the dealership on September 2023 but still said they were waiting on parts after they got it back to their shop...(exhaust hangar and tail pipe) 2 years seems a long time to be waiting on parts. Progressive has already paid them out and I don't seem like they have a priority on getting my truck out in a timely manner. I went to the shop to see the truck and they told me they had the truck at a different location in a storage lot. I do not know what to expect when my truck is finally ready. I have been out of a vehicle for over 2 years and they don't seem to understand the hardship this has put me through for more than 2 years. I cannot say enough good words about Rick and his crew. My 73 Mustang had a coat of many colors after 38 years of ownership with the dents and dings one gets. They were all filled or removed, all rust treated and then prepped for a perfect coat of 1973 2B paint. On delivery, I noticed the crew has even cleaned up the ally wheels and the interior too. My favorite car ever spent 14 years cooking in the Florida sun, had been splashed with a cheap paint job, and looked like crap even with only 60k miles. Calling their paint job a "Restoration Quality" refinish doesn't do it justice. Resurrection is more accurate. All the light lenses look new and the paint and bodywork is FLAWLESS. I don't often recommend people and I'm known as a perfectionist. Just plain thrilled with what Jake and his people accomplished. It wasn't cheap but worth every penny. read more

This body shop was recommended to me by the service manager at my car dealership. They are not on any insurance companies recommended list so there is no funny business with adjusters. They did a top notch job on my car which had significant damage. They started ordering parts needed even before they received any payment by me or my insurance company. It's located in a hard to find area in east Delray, but I found it with GPS. They will be moving to a better location. It's a big operation, just spread out between buildings. When I picked my car up it was completely detailed, looked brand new. They are a busy shop for a reason. I just wanted to give them a shout out. I always recognize great service. read more

I had the same problem with this guy as I had at lengels auto. The owner was another asshole who seemed to think he was better than everybody and just talking down to me, like I'm an idiot. He was being a smart ass which I don't appreciate at all then he had the gall to tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about Because I had a bunch of other quotes me. 1 star is too generous. ZERO RATING!!! DO NOT GO HERE! TOTAL SCAM BEWARE. Blaming the delay in parts arrival, my car sat in there for 2 months with no work done. When I asked for my car back, after a month of delay they asked me to pay $4200 to "put it back together". In reward for my patience, I was humiliated and disrespected by a RACIST employee Franseca Velluzzi. She did not accept my bank check in fear that the payment may not clear, the tellers check that I received directly from the bank. Did my accent bother them? Was my English too clear to comprehend? Am I too young to be taken seriously? Was the fact that I was wearing a mask, a nuisance? Or does my money not count because of my ethnicity? I ONLY ASKED QUESTIONS to complete the transaction but got to witness her bitchy tone in response. The other employees witnessed this too. I reminded her that I am a customer, but "I will not apologize to you" was what she said. I did not even ask for an apology LOL. Ridiculous! I made the full payment and the employee came running to me, to sign a sticky note that I wouldn't dispute the transaction. It may have taken a while to get the car backside to insurance being a pain and the parts coming in. Once everything was in they got to work right away. The office ladies were always pleasant when I called asking for updates. They never seems bothered that I was checking on my car status no matter how many times I called. When I went to pick up my car I was so shocked at how fabulous it looked from the work they did. I didn't think it would look brand new like the accident never happened. Unbelievable. I was down in Florida for the summer and I was involved in an accident off 4th and 5th, I used Yelp to locate this place, thinking they would do a somewhat efficient job, however just for a rear quarter panel, they completely destroyed it. There seemed to be additional scratches all over! The paint job it self seem to have some sort of sun bumps all over, wasn't even close to smooth. Although having a car repaired from damage whether it is your fault or not is always a stressful situation, Rick and Francesca and the staff have a positive and reassuring nature. If I ever have car accident, a simple dent or minor damage to the car I will make sure I always travel the extra distance for this kind of character and service. They do not use after market parts and work with all major car dealerships and brands.
