There is parking in the front of store, but it usually gets taken rather quickly especially between 2 PM to 4 PM on weekdays. You can also park in the back, near the area where donations are dropped off. I usually come on Tuesdays, where discounts usually don't apply to me. I like Wednesday's where there are student/teacher discounts. To my luck, I went on a spin the wheel day today! You get to spin the wheel after your purchase for an opportunity to win items or get a discount. I like browsing their toys, vintage items, and office supplies. I usually get very good second hand items such as staplers, hole punchers, DVDs, shoes, and board games. This location is actually my favorite place to shop for vintage film cameras (I'm afraid to post this because my fellow Yelp friends will be coming more to grab them before I do!). Today, I bought a good pocket minolta film camera, some stuffed animals, and some office supplies. The cashiers are sweethearts and are willing to help you look at items! They also have an extensive amount of used clothes and furniture. It's definitely my favorite thrift store and will continue to be so.

The staff is kind, helpful, and professional, and the donation process is very convenient. They are open Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday. If you're dropping off donations, you can simply drive up to the donation area, and they will take the items from your car and provide you with a receipt. That makes the process so easy. Today I met Maria, the store manager, and she provided excellent customer service. She also shared helpful information about where some of the donated clothing and items go, including libraries and different organizations they partner with. It was a great learning experience and made me feel even better about donating here. I would definitely encourage others to bring donations here or stop by and shop to see what they have. It's a friendly, community-focused thrift store with great customer service.

Then, the volunteers were sweet and humble and the store didnt operate as if they were Nordstrom's. It is not the same. They are wayyyyy overpriced for stuff that was donated to them. There is literally a "no talk to the employees" sign up. "No price tag no sale" is a crock since it is their "job" to price the stuff they put out on the floor. Today I was there and found something I was interested in but there was no price on it. I took it to the back door to see if I could get assistance with it and there was a big nasty sign that basically said "don't even think of asking for help. No price no sale" well screw you then! So much crap on the floor without prices. And their half off deals are a joke too. If it says "green tags 50% off" good luck finding a green tag! They had a red Ferrari wind breaker that was donated but they wanted $200.00 for it. Greedy much????? And don't EVEN THINK of buying anything electronic. They plug them in to check for power but don't test anything any further. I've had to rerun any electronics I have purchased here. Just don't bother. I need a new thrift store!

There are a couple of parking spots with the auto shops towards the end. I usually come on the discount days (Tuesday and Thursday's) for educators. I like to browse their cups to find vintage, floral pieces that my mom used to have. In addition to cups and plates, there are endless amounts of clothing articles, toys, books, jewelry, and miscellaneous pet items. Each section is separated towards a designated section, making it easy to browse. The ladies who work here are gentle and kind, always willing to assist you, if needed. Everything is decently priced and there are constantly great deals. I've come on a special sticker priced day, making my items (with the correct colored sticker) 50% off! This store is full of hidden gems and wonderful second-hand items. Please make a stop by in order to support a wonderful cause! You'll never know what you'll find here.

I stopped by the Salvation Army Family Thrift Store hoping to find a worn-out dress I could…read morerepurpose into a pashmina or head scarf. I specifically was looking for something old and falling apart--not boutique pricing. While browsing, I noticed several dresses labeled "donated brand new" priced between $12.99-$17.99, which already felt a little steep for a thrift store. But okay, I kept looking. Eventually, I found exactly what I needed--a gold sequined knit dress... except it was VERY worn, stretched out, and very visibly used. I found the dress with no tag-- No tag. No brand. Perfect for my project! I brought it to the register and explained the situation. The cashier (who seemed to be in a supervisory role) barely looked at it and immediately said, "$12.99." I politely asked how pricing works, especially since their brand new items were priced in the same range. She responded (with a bit of attitude, honestly) that pricing is determined by the warehouse based on brand. So I clarified: this item was clearly not a big name brand, it was very Walmart/target-coded, if you know what I mean-- but USED and heavily worn -could it be priced accordingly? Her response? No. It's $12.99. It was basically Take it or leave it... At that point, I was on a time crunch and needed the material for an event the next day, so I paid the $12.99... but I left genuinely baffled. Paying near-retail thrift prices for something that's visibly USED and worn just doesn't sit right--especially when I could walk into Ross Stores and buy something brand new for the same price. I wanted to give this place a chance, but between the inconsistent pricing and the dismissive customer service, I'll probably stick with Goodwill moving forward--at least they tend to price items based on actual condition and treat customers with a bit more understanding.
