I've been here twice in the past month when visiting my sister in Gouda. The first time just me and her, second time with 7 people. Peking duck, Cantonese ricetable and various hotpots are some of the items we had and/or shared.
On both occasions the food was great and service prompt and friendly. We had different waiters and hosts for each time, so I can only assume it's how things always are. Two things that stood out as extremely delicious are the Peking dockrolls for appetizer and the home made sambal (chili paste).
After a little pleading I was able to get some sambal to take home to the states. It's by far the best sambal I have ever ate, and I eat a lot of it.
I'll make sure to go back whenever I am in Gouda again. read more
