From what I thought it was going to be a goodnight vibe going out to support the line up/headliners. We arrived at the exact time the venue advertised the artist will perform. The bouncer told us they actually ended 2 hours ago from the original time they said. I was furious because not even a notification was sent to us that they changed the time. I would figure venues would notify their customers about the time changes but not even an email sent. Definitely not coming back for another events to this location. Poor communication management with their customers.

In terms of their actual offerings, they have a lot of used vinyl, some of it is very rare. So, if you're looking for that really special something, you may very well be able to find it at this shop. They also have a lot of new vinyl. Some of it is of the older variety, and some of it is very new releases. So, whatever you're looking for, you should be able to find something here. In terms of their pricing, it's all very reasonable. Even the rare vintage vinyl they offer is priced very competitively in correlation with the modern market. This is the same with their new vinyl, their prices are very competitive. They also offer a few other items like some cassette tape and things like that. Thus, it is your one stop shop for when you want to grab that special piece of music. The staff here are all really nice. So if you need any help, they'll be happy to help you out. Overall, this is one of those dying breeds of shops, one that offers a grand selection of vinyl. It's a great place to visit, whether you're looking for that special record, or you're just looking to look. Overall, it's a great shopping experience.

The staff managed to be clueless, passive-aggressive and weirdly condescending all at once, quite an achievement, really. The whole place has the atmosphere of people who used to be cool decades ago and are still furious the rest of the world moved on. You're selling records, lads, not guarding the master tapes at Abbey Road. Drop the attitude and try speaking to customers like human beings. Plenty of better places nearby to spend your money without being treated like you've interrupted someone's failed rehearsal. Cheers.

Inside, they are a smaller shop but have a good amount of records to sort through. Their selection ranges from different genres and are usually more old school. Everything is priced fairly and the staff here are welcoming. I definitely spotted some cool finds that I do not typically see at other record shops.

For some reason the person on the phone was frustrated pretty quick. Once inside, the space was clean and spacious, but no music playing. Unfortunately, the selection felt pretty limited and not fully stocked, so there wasn't much to dig through this time. Cool shop overall, just not the vibe for me on this day.

Prices are marked and fair. Yes, its a bit more than what you can find online. I am willing to pay more to support a women owned brick and mortar store. Its a experience to have these stores near you. Its also the thrill of the hunt. All worth it. Do you want to risk your vinyl getting damaged or lost from mail. Risking the condition not as advertised from your expectations or paying for shipping and handling. They allow you to listen to any used vinyl prior to purchasing and you can examine the condition prior to buying from a place like this. I rather take it home now. You can't do that online. All worth it. Messaged them on IG about purchasing 7inch vinyl protective sleeves, they are very responsive. I am not sure if they can do special orders or RSD events. Clean and well organized. Alphabetically and by genre. My favourite genre is 80s, new wave, and punk 4 hour parking structure less than a skip away. Will return!~

The selection honestly blew me away. I found an amazing record (see pic), and I loved the graffiti-style sign and music icon photos on the walls. Big plus for having a listening station, always a must for me. Also love that it's women-owned. Parking was easy- there's a parking structure near by. Definitely coming back.

So I pass by this record store all the time and have been curious about it. So I finally went in…read moreto see if they just sold "New" records (current) or if they also sold new, still sealed in plastic old records as well. Well, to my surprise, they have many old records that are still new (still in plastic wrap)! Not only that but the people that work there are friendly and quite helpful. For example, one of the "new" old Records I purchased had a tear in the plastic. So I inquired about whether or not they had another copy that didn't have a tear in the plastic. They did not but they offered to knock off a couple of dollars in return. I didn't even ask for that. Very cool Now as for the used record selection, I was not that impressed with their quality. I think you get a lot better quality if you search online. Other than that, I would recommend this store.

The only negative thing is that there was a female employee there about my age (a senior citizen) who always watched me like a hawk and made me feel uncomfortable (as if I were going to steal something). UPDATE OF MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: After what started out to be a positive experience, I'm left with a…read morevery negative feeling about this place. IN A LARGE NUTSHELL: I originally called to see if ATRT carried a specific pressing of an artist/album and they did. I purchased that album plus four others. Played all of the albums BUT the specific album I needed - which was the most expensive - was literally unplayable. Contacted owner Kevin and he started making up store policies: claimed the invoice states it allows for only a 50% refund (it doesn't); then stated while he wouldn't refund me, he would try to locate another copy of the album which would probably have a later pressing/label & that I needed to be okay with that since it contained all of the same songs as the original pressing. (I wanted the original release, I paid for the original release, I expected the original release - not a later reissue on a different label - this shouldn't be difficult for any collector to comprehend.) Kevin attempted to bully me by repeatedly cutting me off with his confrontational, condescending, argumentative and arrogant tone which, honestly, was shocking, to say the least. Eventually he admitted he doesn't listen to the albums while simultaneously claiming them to be in great condition - after much back and forth, he finally agreed to reimburse me for the defective album. (It's as though he's great to talk to if you agree with everything he says but if he feels challenged, he takes it as a threat?????) I understand not being able to listen to thousands of albums to check their usability but if they don't work & he doesn't want to provide an in-store opportunity for customers to test them, do the honest thing. Also, post your lack-of-return-policy-of-the-moment so customers know in advance what they're settling for - NOTE: they have you sign the receipt after paying AND keep talking to you while signing so you simply think you're signing for receipt of merchandise - if there's a no-return clause or a partial refund clause, you won't know that. As I stated to Kevin over the phone, I'm not mad or angry about the hostile way he treated me, I'm actually sad - what could have been a pretty darn good experience with a local small business turned out to be a pretty awful one. MY MISTAKE - I should have read other reviews BEFORE visiting because there are wildly differing opinions on this place and all seem legit - the good and the bad. My first review was great and as you can see, that soured pretty frickin' quickly. It doesn't take much to be decent and honest - especially if you'd like to keep customers who are happy to share their experiences with others.

The truck was stocked with mostly LPs when it stopped at one of my local watering holes. It did have a selection of choice punk 7 inches though. There are two listening stations set up outside of the truck. Inside everything is well lit and well organized. The vinyl is all graded and priced accordingly. Almost everything for sell was in great condition, no junk. How about a first pressing of the 13th Floor Elevators "The Psychedelic Sounds of.." LP? They have that in great shape, Sonny Boy Williamson "More Real Folk Blues" LP, they have that too. Stooges, New York Dolls, Black Flag, X, Led Zepplin, Bowie. They have it all and in great shape too. I would suggest checking them out if they roll through your part of town.

Found too many that I wanted that I had to keep putting stuff back. Super friendly and helpful owner. They also had a bunch of cute socks for cheap, after I spent to much on records, I found a few pairs of socks I had to have too.
