We saw De La Cruz Mexican Food from the road while we were on our way to HomeGoods and decided to stop by and give it a try. Really glad we did! The food was really good. My girl got the chile relleno, which is one of her favorite Mexican dishes, and she said it's her favorite one she's had in town so far! I got the carne asada plate and it was really good too. Very disappointing experience. We ordered two burritos to go and kept the order as simple as possible, yet both burritos were made incorrectly. At nearly $15 per burrito, we expected our order to be prepared as requested. This is the second time this has happened to us, and it was the exact same mistake both times. It's frustrating that such a simple order continues to be made incorrectly. The mistake was frustrating enough that my husband had to drive all the way back to have the order corrected. We understand that mistakes can happen, but getting both burritos wrong twice on such a simple order is unacceptable. I had ordered online for pickup, and when I arrived I saw that you could join the loyalty program to get points. I joined right then and there. The staff was very helpful to add the points to my online order. Both the Al pastor taco salad and chicken quesadilla were ordered without sour cream and they automatically gave an extra scoop of guacamole instead without additional fees, especially since most places charge extra for the guacamole. Just for that they get bonus points! The food was delicious! The crispy flour bowl did not taste greasy, and the chicken quesadilla was also very good. New rewards program is not good. I didn't know they no longer use the app. Cashier told me to scan a QR code. I did. I told her I had 4 rewards and 2 expire in 2 days so to plus use one of those, as the other 2 expired in September so I have time to use them. After paying and I looked at my account, she redeemed the one for September! And nothing she can do about it. Go back to the other rewards where we show you a QR code to scan and use the rewards we want, not the cashier choosing their reward. read more

Loved the fresh & crispy chips with their salsas. Delicious horchata (thanks for asking if we want ice in our drinks!) and $2 churro was devoured by the little one along with their guacamole. The kids carne asada taco plate is well portioned. Only complaint was that the meat in it was a bit hard and dry.
