The day of our appointment a couple hours prior, Alex texted me asking if he could come earlier than scheduled. I told him that I wasn't able to make it then, and he responded that it was fine and he would see me at 1. I drove 30 minutes to meet Alex at our agreed upon time, and waited 15 minutes waiting for him to show up. He didn't, so I texted him again to see what his eta was. He then informed he wasn't coming, and had an emergency to take care of. Given the prior conversation with him, I'm not entirely convinced of this "emergency ", especially because he still offered to come in the morning the following day. Had he called me when he knew he wouldn't be able to make it, I might be more forgiving, but he wasted my time.

He's great with communication, and his estimate was right on point. I had some drainage work done at my house which trashed my entire irrigation system, so I needed to have it replaced, both in the front and back yard. The McKay crew did a bang up job of it. They came in on time and on budget. They had the whole system laid out and running within about two days. Then Sherman spent some time with me to make sure I knew how to operate the controllers. In fact, they do more than irrigation, and I will likely have them come back and put in some new plants and do some other work in my backyard.
