There were a decent amount of switch games available to rent and their DVD collection is amazing with new releases. The male librarian is very helpful when I want to ask him on how to make a copy. The female old librarian is gossiping about Asian people and making fun at them. The young teenager is making fun at the Asian populations. Other people are gossiping about other person's life after 4pm. In general, the quality of the people who come to this library are better during the morning , but the quality of the people are getting worse as the day goes by, especially during the evening hours.

This is one of the nicest libraries I've been in around the area. This library is conveniently located next to the Central Park. After coming here, it's also nice to scroll around the park as well. I love how they have a quiet area with a fireplace, cushy seats, and sunshine shining through the windows facing the park. No talking in this area. The children and teens' section is conveniently located downstairs, which is an ideal location since they tend to talk loudly. Study/meeting rooms are spacious upstairs, but must be reserved ahead of time. Also, the restrooms are clean on both floors. Love the sculpture near the entrance. I can't believe it took me ages to discover this library after walking around Downtown Mountain View for the past two years. They have a huge video game catalog (3 bins just for the Switch games) but it's a tad awkward having to ask the staff at the counter to look through them. Other libraries have the physical boxes (with cartridges removed) on the shelves which makes it much more accessible. Their DVD selection isn't as expansive as some of the other collections at neighboring SCC libraries, but they still have wonderful resources available.

The sheer number of books, blu-rays, and video games each library has is insane. You're missing out if you don't sign up for a Santa Clara County Library card!

I really appreciate that most people here tend to respect the fact that libraries are meant to be quiet. The third floor study room is really nice and boasts an amazing view of the campus. Parking is free on weekends and street parking is available as well! They also offer free 2 hour visitor parking permits (any time after 8 PM is free), and anyone is able to access the library without needing a student ID card prior to 7 PM. Additionally, the Sunstream Cafe is usually open and has a variety of caffeinated beverages & snacks available for purchase. This library is a gem and I love that it closes on the later side.

As soon as I slid the $25 over-the-counter, I asked about the room utilization and the room does not allow you to use the TV. You're not allowed to use the resources in the room that are physically there, unless you're a sponsored library program that you have to apply for. When I asked for a refund, they told me payment is nonrefundable, standing in the same conversation standing at the cashier desk. This was probably the worst Customer Service I have ever received. I also talked to three other ladies and they were all three rude in the process of this backhanded info. I am sadly very dissatisfied with this library and won't ever come back!
