Very disappointing experience at JCPenney. I tried to return an item that was still within the…read morereturn period and expected the refund to go back to the original American Express card I used for the purchase. The refund would not process, and I was told this normally happens when a card has been changed or replaced -- but my card has NOT been changed or replaced. Instead of properly investigating why the refund was being rejected or getting a manager to resolve the issue, I ended up receiving a JCPenney gift card. I am not satisfied with this solution because I paid with my American Express and wanted the refund returned to my original payment method. The whole experience was frustrating and poorly handled. I expected much better customer service and a proper explanation of what went wrong.

Stopped in here to get out of traffic on a busy Friday afternoon…read more This was a different format of a Target than my local Target, but that's fine, I could easily find what I needed, or what wasn't really needed and what was really just an impulse buy. I spent about an hour here, looking and eventually buying the black yoga pants I came in for. I'm always happy to find exactly what I came in for. Target is good for that.

I purchased some items from the babies clearance section. I found some really cute things for my 3 month old granddaughter. One item was marked at $11.20. Cool. When I went to the self checkout and it rang up at $16.00. I called over the employee and pointed out the price difference. She looked at me and said.... Hmmm that does not seem right. And that's the wrong sticker on that item. Are you sure about that? I told her yes. And there are more over there with the same tag. She said.... I'll let it slide this time. But I can't do that for you again. It's the wrong sticker. Excuse me??? That is not the same conversation I heard her have with the lady next to me. She was more than happy to adjust the price. Anyhow.... It is what it is. I'll still shop at Target. Just had to point out this unfortunate interaction.

Highly recommend!

Very nice thrift store with a great selection and fair prices. However, there are a few things I…read moredidn't like. There are no dressing rooms, so you can't try clothes on before purchasing. It can also be difficult to get assistance because there is a language barrier with some of the staff. Nobody barely speaks English, wtf???? They are cash only and have a no-refund/no-return policy, which is especially frustrating since you can't try anything on. If you buy something and it doesn't fit, you're basically stuck with it. I also found the restroom setup unusual. There was a male employee stationed near the restrooms who had to unlock the door with a combination keypad each time someone needed to use it. Overall, I liked the store and the prices, but the lack of dressing rooms and can't get help combined with the no-return policy is a major downside for me.

Everything is not jammed all together in random aisles. Secondly, they have a large selection within each category of items. For example, they had four or five different makeup brush sets to choose from; not just one set, take it or leave it. Finally, their merchandise was updated and relevant; they had the cutest $5 donut pool floats, and makeup brush sets with mermaid tails. I picked up a cute $5 phone case, nail files, panda lanyard, and foot scrub while I was here. Check out was easy as they have a worker directing you to a self-checkout line. This is definitely my new go-to store when I need to stock up on miscellaneous but necessary cheap items.
