This is one of my favorite Dollar Tree's in town. It is always well stocked with the items I am…read morelooking for, and usually has a great variety of seasonal/holiday items. This is where I go if I need giftwrap or accessories, holiday flair, school supplies or random stuff for the house. The place has always been neat and tidy, and I've never encountered anything but helpful courtesy from the employees. I especially like going early in the morning before the rest of Fresno wakes up. This location opens at 8am, unlike many other locations which open at 9am. I never have any wait when I go early, which is especially great when buying a bouquet of balloons (starting at $1.50 a balloon!). I'd recommend this location--even if it is a bit of a drive for you.

Once inside though, it's like a little treasure trove of beautiful Mexican pottery. Tons of variety in colors, shapes, and sizes. Whether you're looking for something decorative or functional, they've probably got it. The lady working there was super sweet and took the time to show us some of the newer pieces and explain a bit about them, which was a nice touch. They also did a great job wrapping everything we bought--lots of care to make sure nothing breaks or chips on the way home. Everything is very affordable, and they give you discounts if you buy in bulk. Our girls accidentally got nail polish on one of the chairs, and the warranty app was incredibly easy to use. The whole claims process felt almost too good to be true--it was smooth, fast, and we received consistent updates throughout. That said, the in-store experience has been a bit inconsistent. At times, it feels like some employees avoid eye contact and aren't very eager to help, which can be frustrating when you need assistance. However, I really want to recognize Jacquees for his outstanding customer service. He was confident, reassuring, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. He went out of his way to assist us and made a big difference in our experience. Unfortunately, when he asked a manager a question, her response came across as sarcastic and dismissive in front of us, which was disappointing--especially since he was clearly doing his best to help. Pickup was another mixed experience. I understand the process, but I did wish there was a bit more flexibility. I only had one accent chair to load, but I had to wait about 10-15 minutes while two employees assisted another customer with a large sectional. It would have been nice if someone could have quickly grabbed my item instead of making me wait. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the furniture and especially the protection plan. I've seen this at Target where they're ripping off the suggested retail price so that nobody knows but sometimes the tags are left and they're marking up products ridiculous. They usually have a lot of nice things there but not for the prices that they're charging.
